As you well know, I love to watch movies, of all kinds, of all kinds, and of any era, but my favorite ones I always say are those that are full of drama, with a little action, suspense, mystery, are those that catch you, intrigue you, and you want to know how it will end, what will happen with the bad guys of the story, will they catch them, will they get away with it, will it continue, all those questions that go through our head.
Don't you get an idea of how the story will end, but as it goes on everything you had imagined didn't happen, or happened differently, but in the end you are satisfied, because somehow something of what you thought was fulfilled, well it sounds a little nonsense, but I think that's how it happens sometimes.
In recent years, real life tragedies have inspired movies that explore the boundaries of good and evil, love and hate, morality and immorality. Movies like Erin Brockovich and Monster draw viewers into the story so they can live vicariously through the main character.
They are those stories that catch you, that constant struggle, that desire for revenge, for justice, is what has become so common, and that we see through the screens, people tired of so much bureaucracy, to be able to enforce the law, are situations like this that leads them to want to break the laws, and take justice into their own hands.
This is something that we can see in this film, a film that has been released years ago, but that, even so, does not cease to be shocking, where violence, injustice and the desire for revenge gives rise to a disturbing, dramatic story full of ups and downs.
An eye for an eye, this is the name of this film starring the famous actress Sally Field, in the role of Karen McCann, a mother who will not rest until she gets justice for her daughter; this woman suffered great pain, hearing how that man attacked her daughter, was a real trauma for her, and worse to see how the murderer went free as if nothing, she could not understand or much less overcome this.
This is a very controversial drama, Ejo por ojo is a film whose theme revolves around violence and revenge, where we know well that violence begets violence, and this film is really not that surprising, we see the rage of the mother when her daughter is killed, with a story of revenge that has been done before and done better, where from the beginning we have an idea of what is going to happen, or could end this story.
There is no denying that this film had good actors, as already mentioned Sally Field, we have the actor Kiefer Sutherland, in the role of the villain of this story, a role that he knew how to do very well too, he gave a great performance, a totally unbalanced man, there was no reason to justify his actions.
Although what sensible reason can exist to commit acts like that, nothing can justify it, to attack and murder an innocent person, just for fun, makes no sense, but well, as they say over there, it happens on TV, it happens in real life, they are unthinkable cases, and the worst thing is that if, the murderers go free, as if nothing, they continue doing their thing, because we are in a world where there are no laws, there is no justice, then, there are people, who prefer to do it by their own means.
This film was released in 1996, a trailer, a few weeks ago of it, and I wanted to see it again, I do not know why I just did it, and here I am sharing this brief review with you, I like to bring you something different, every time I can, I hope you see it, if you have not done it, or if you remember it, tell me what you thought of it.

Como bien saben, me encanta ver películas, de todo tipo, de toda clase, y de cualquier época, pero mis favoritas siempre digo que son las que están llenas de drama, con un poco de acción, suspenso, misterio, son esas que te atrapan, te intrigan, y quieres saber como terminara, que pasara con los malos de la historia, los atraparan, se saldrán con la suya, continuara, todas esas interrogantes que pasan por nuestra cabeza.
No les pasa que se hace una idea de cómo terminara la historia, pero a medida que transcurre todo lo que se habían imaginado no sucedía, u ocurría de otra forma, pero a la final queda satisfecho, porque de alguna manera se cumplió algo de lo que pensabas, bueno suena un poco sin sentido, pero creo que así ocurre a veces.
En los últimos años, las tragedias de la vida real han inspirado películas que exploran los límites del bien y el mal, el amor y el odio, la moralidad y la inmoralidad. Películas como Erin Brockovich y Monster atraen a los espectadores a la historia para que puedan vivir indirectamente a través del personaje principal.
Son esas historias que te atrapan, esa lucha constante, ese deseo de venganza, de justicia, es lo que se ha vuelto tan común, y que vemos a través de las pantallas, personas cansadas de tanta burocracia, para poder hacer cumplir la ley, son situaciones como esta que los lleva a querer romper las leyes, y hacer justicia por sus propias manos.
Esto es algo que podemos ver en este film, una película que tiene años de haberse estrenado, pero que, aun así, no deja de ser impactante, donde la violencia, la injusticia y el deseo de venganza da pie a una historia perturbadora, dramática y llena de altibajos.
Ojo por ojo, así se llama este film protagonizado por la famosa actriz Sally Field, en el papel de Karen McCann, una madre que no descansara hasta hacerle justicia a su hija; esta mujer sufrió un dolor muy grande, el escuchar como ese hombre atacaba a su hija, fue un verdadero trauma para ella, y peor ver como el asesino salía libre como si nada, esto ella no lo podía entender ni mucho menos superar.
Este es un drama muy controvertido, Ojo por ojo es una película cuya temática gira en torno a la violencia y la venganza, donde sabemos bien que la violencia engendra violencia, y esta película realmente no es tan sorprendente, vemos la rabia de la madre cuando su hija es asesinada, con una historia de venganza que se ha hecho antes y se ha hecho mejor, donde desde un principio tenemos una idea de lo que va a ocurrir, o podría terminar esta historia.
No se puede negar que este film contó con buenos actores, como ya mencione Sally Field, tenemos al actor Kiefer Sutherland, en el papel del villano de esta historia, un papel que lo supo hacer muy bien también, hizo una gran actuación, un hombre totalmente desequilibrado, no había una razón que justificara sus actos.
Aunque qué razón sensata puede existir para cometer actos así, nada puede justificarlo, el atacar y asesinar a una persona inocente, solo por gusto, no tiene sentido, pero bueno, como dicen por allí, pasa en la televisión, pasa en la vida real, son casos impensables, y lo peor es que si, los asesinos quedan libres, como si nada, siguen haciendo de las suyas, porque estamos en un mundo donde no hay leyes, no hay justicia, entonces, hay personas, que prefieren hacerlo por sus propios medios.
Esta película fue estrenada en 1996, un tráiler, hace unas semanas de ella, y la quise volver a ver, no sé, porque solo lo hice, y aquí estoy compartiendo esta breve reseña con ustedes, me gusta traerles algo distinto, cada vez que puedo, espero la vean, si no lo han hecho, o si la recuerdan, me digan que tal les pareció.
Un film lleno de drama, crimen, violencia e injusticia, con una sed de venganza, el amor de madre suele convertirse en rabia, y esa rabia te puede llevar a cometer los peores actos que se puedan imaginar, se los dejo por aquí.
Como siempre les digo, no dejen de ver una buena película o serie, para pasar un buen rato, distraerse, y descansar un poco, hasta la próxima.
