Friends of Movie & TV Show, a pleasure to greet you, again I bring you a series, that although hard to believe, was based on real events, if this story is true, it happened a few years ago, and still continues to give much to talk about.
The series is called The Dropout: Rise and Fall of Elizabeth Holmes, which as the name says, is based on the life of this woman Elizabeth, and what she achieved at such a young age.
Elizabeth Holmes is an ambitious young woman, and that with only 19 years old, she wanted to change the world, that is why she decided to abandon her studies of Chemical Engineer, and began to form her own company, with the intention of entering the area of health, with new technologies, which according to her would help many patients.
There is no doubt that to do this type of work, you have to have a lot of character, but above all know how to sell, this is something that in the case of Elizabeth, she executed it very well, because this woman had that power of conviction, where many people followed her, supported her, and believed in her, in her creation.
This is something that helped her a lot, and this was based on her good charisma, good marketing, with promises of new technological advances, the most surprising of all, is that as I said, everyone believed and did what she told them, even without seeing the alleged product, this woman managed to become a multimillionaire, overnight, all because of the great power of conviction, that this young girl radiated.
This series was starred by the famous actress Amanda Seyfried, there is no denying that she played a great role, playing the role of Elizabeth, a young woman, beautiful, brilliant, ambitious, so cold and insensitive in some situations, but all this helped her to rise so high, to achieve that many investors believed in her, in what she offered them.
The Dropout is a fascinating and dramatic documentary-style series that sheds light on one of the biggest technology scams in the history of the United States, consists of eight episodes, where we reflect a little of what was this story with this woman, and that to this day, still continues to give much to talk about.

Many people who saw what was happening, did nothing, stayed on the sidelines, Why?, well, some would say out of fear, but fear of what, losing their jobs, and what about the people who were going to be exposed with these devices, the patients, they should have been priority, what if this had gone further, I can't imagine the consequences, the havoc it would cause to so many people.
Setting up a business from scratch is not an easy task, at least in my country, in recent years, many people have created their own small business, their own businesses, and I know more than one that have failed, closed, because they do not see that they earn something, that is where you should be aware, that setting up a business is easy, but to maintain it, to expect to see good profits, is what takes time, work, dedication, investment, in short, all this takes a long time, and I'm not talking about months, but years.

Estoy fue lo primero vi en esta historia, una mujer desesperada por querer ser alguien importante, su mayor interés no solo era cambiar el mundo, sino ese deseo poderoso, ambicioso, soñado que todos en un momento añoramos, el simple hecho de convertirnos en millonarios, por nuestros propios medios, sin depender de nadie, sin tener que trabajarle a nadie nunca en tu vida, solo para ti.
Amigos de Movie & TV Show, un gusto saludarlos, nuevamente les traigo una serie, que aunque cuesta creerlo, fue basado en hechos reales, si esta historia es real, sucedió hace pocos años, y aún sigue dando mucho de qué hablar.
La serie se llama The Dropout: Auge y caída de Elizabeth Holmes, el cual como bien lo dice el nombre, se basa en la vida de esta mujer Elizabeth, y lo que alcanzo a lograr desde tan corta edad.
Elizabeth Holmes es una joven mujer ambiciosa, y que con tan solo 19 años, quería cambiar el mundo, es por ello que decidió abandonar sus estudios de Ingeniero Químico, y empezó a formar su propia empresa, con la intención de incursionar en el área de la salud, con nuevas tecnologías, que según ella ayudaría a muchos pacientes.
No cabe duda que para hacer este tipo de trabajo, hay que tener mucho carácter, pero sobre todo saber vender, esto es algo que en el caso de Elizabeth, lo ejecuto muy bien, pues esta mujer tenía ese poder de convencimiento, donde muchas personas la seguían, apoyaban, y creían en ella, en su creación.
Esto es algo que la ayudo mucho, y en esto se basó, en su buen carisma, un buen marketing, con promesas de nuevos avances tecnológicos, lo más sorprendente de todo, es que como dije, todos creían y hacían lo que ella les decía, aun sin ver el supuesto producto, esta mujer logro hacerse multimillonaria, de la noche a la mañana, todo por el gran poder de convencimiento, que esta joven chica irradiaba.
Esta serie fue protagonizada por la famosa actriz Amanda Seyfried, no se puede negar que hizo un gran papel, interpretando el papel de Elizabeth, una mujer joven, bonita, brillante, ambiciosa, tan fría e insensible en algunas situaciones, pero todo esto la ayudo a subir tan alto, a lograr que muchos inversionistas creyeran en ella, en lo que les ofrecía.
The Dropout es una fascinante y dramática serie de estilo documental que arroja luz sobre una de las mayores estafas tecnológicas en la historia de los Estados Unidos, consta de ocho episodios, donde nos refleja un poco lo que fue esta historia con esta mujer, y que hasta el día de hoy, todavía sigue dando mucho de qué hablar.
En esta serie vemos la historia de esta mujer Elizabeth, y lo que la llevo a tomar todas esas decisiones, debido a que su único y mayor deseo ambicioso era convertirse en la sucesora de Steve Jobs, de hecho muchos ya la veían de esa forma, sin importar que tanto aportaba ella, al mundo tecnológico, a mi parecer.
Había cosas que ella decía, y de verdad tenía sentido, uno desea lograr grandes cosas, revolucionar el mundo, crecer en él, aportando grandes ideas, haciendo enormes cambios, tanto en el ámbito empresarial o como en la humanidad, pero a qué costo, esto es algo que podemos ver en esta serie, todo lo que esta mujer estaba dispuesta hacer, a lograr, y con sus inversionistas, cegados, gente con poder, que a pesar de todo aún seguían respaldándola.
Muchas personas que vieron lo que sucedía, no hicieron nada, se quedaron al margen, ¿Por qué?, bueno, algunos dirían que por miedo, pero miedo a que, a perder sus trabajos, y que pasa con las personas que iba a ser expuestas con estos dispositivos, los pacientes, ellos debían ser prioridad, que pasaría si esto hubiera llegado más lejos, no puedo imaginarme las consecuencias, el estrago que causaría a tantas personas.
Montar una empresa desde cero no es tarea fácil, por lo menos en mi país, en los últimos años, muchas personas han creado su pequeño emprendimiento, sus propios negocios, y sé más de uno que han fracasado, cerrado, porque no ven que ganen algo, es allí donde se debe ser conscientes, que montar un negocio es fácil, pero mantenerlo, esperar ver buenas ganancias, es lo que toma tiempo, trabajo, dedicación, inversión, en fin, todo esto toma mucho tiempo, y no hablo de meses, sino años.
En el caso de esta mujer, ella no quiso esperar años, y, por una parte, bueno es admirable, todo lo que se movió para conseguir vender su producto, su tecnología, no cabe duda que cuando haces el buen uso del marketing, y sobre todo el saber vender, puedes conseguir grandes cosas, sin embargo, pero todo esto la llevo a hacer la mayor estafa de su vida, como dije a qué costo.
Fue una buena serie, con algunas frases certeras, pensativas, acertadas, te hace pensar en muchas cosas, se las recomiendo, la verdad vale la pena verla, son episodios cortos, donde en cada escena muestra el auge de esta historia, de esta mujer, y su empresa.
¿Vale la pena verla? Pienso que si, como ya les comente, es una historia que aún está dando de qué hablar, son mucho los que quieren revolucionar el mundo, pero hay que saber hacerlo bien, y con calma, todo toma su tiempo, y nada surge de repente, y si lo hace, tiene su precio.
