Hello, hello dear moviegoing friends! I hope you are very well, today I would like to share with you my opinion about one of my favorite anime series which I had not seen for many years. This is Another (Anazā), which was released in 2012, and is based on a novel written by Ayatsuji Yukito. I hope you like it!
¡Hola, hola queridos amigos cinéfilos! Espero estén muy bien, hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes mi opinión acerca de una de mis series anime favoritas la cual tenía muchos años sin volver a ver. Se trata de Another (Anazā), la cual fué estrenada en el 2012, y se basa en una novela escrita por Ayatsuji Yukito. ¡Espero les guste!
Plot / Trama
Kōichi Sakakibara is a boy who enters the Yomiyama North High School to study where strange things happen that have to do with a mysterious death of a student many years ago, and that there is also an extra student in the classroom, who died but did not know it. knows. All the events that happen are related to both the mysterious death and the "extra student" since during the school year many students or their relatives begin to die in a grotesque and sudden way. Kōichi befriends Misaki Mei, a girl who has one eye covered with a patch because through that eye she is able to see death around people which is totally ignored by everyone, including her teacher. As the story unfolds, several students are losing their lives in a very tragic way, as well as relatives of others, for which they decide to investigate to try to find the cause of what is happening. During a summer excursion things get terrible when many students start to go crazy and kill each other to try to break the curse, at first they think it's Kōichi for being the newest student, but then they discover that the spirit of the "Extra Student "Actually, she is not a student but a teacher, the teacher of Kōichi's class who also turns out to be his aunt so they end up killing her so that the curse is broken.
Kōichi Sakakibara es un chico que entra a estudiar al instituto Yomiyama North en dónde pasan cosas extrañas que tienen que ver con una misteriosa muerte de una estudiante hace muchos años, y que también hay un estudiante extra en el salón, el cual falleció pero no lo sabe. Todos los sucesos que pasan tienen relación tanto con la misteriosa muerte, como con el "estudiante extra" ya que durante el año escolar muchos estudiantes o sus familiares empiezan a morir de manera grotesca y repentina. Kōichi hace amistad con Mei Misaki, una chica que tiene un ojo tapado con un parche ya que por ese ojo es capaz de ver la muerte rondando a las personas la cual es totalmente ignorada por todo el mundo, inclusive por su profesora. Mientras transcurre la historia varios estudiantes van perdiendo la vida de manera muy trágica, así como familiares de otros por lo que deciden indagar para intentar dar con la causa de lo que ocurre. Durante una excursión de verano las cosas se ponen terribles cuando muchos estudiantes empiezan a enloquecer y a matarse unos con otros para intentar romper la maldición, al principio piensan que es Kōichi por ser el estudiante más nuevo, pero luego descubren que el espíritu del "Estudiante extra" en realidad no es un estudiante sino una profesora, la profesora de la clase de Kōichi quién resulta ser también su tía así que terminan matándola para que así se rompa la maldición.
My Opinion / Mi Opinión
This anime caught my attention since I've been a big fan of horror and suspense anime since my teens, and I must say that I liked it and it left me wanting more hahaha. I will start talking about the characters, of which there were some that scared me and others that I found very nice and it really saddened me that most of my favorites died, such as Yukari Sakuragi who died when she fell down the stairs and that Because of that fall, the peak of an umbrella will pierce her neck, and Izumi Akazawa who dies almost at the end of the anime pierced by glass and pieces of wood. The development of the characters in general seemed very good to me and my favorite characters were Mei Misaki who I liked a lot although she was the character that the others ignored, Naoya Teshigawara who seems quite cheerful and friendly to me, and Izumi Akazawa who seemed to me funny and I was literally grieved at her passing as I wanted her to survive.
Este anime me llamó mucho la atención ya que desde mi adolescencia soy muy fan de los animes de terror y suspenso, y debo decir que me gustó y me dejó con ganas de más jajaja. Empezaré hablando de los personajes, de los cuales hubo algunos que me dieron miedo y otros que me parecieron muy simpáticos y de verdad me entristeció que la mayoría de mis favoritos fallecieran como por ejemplo Yukari Sakuragi la cual falleció al caer por las escaleras y que a causa de esa caida el pico de un paraguas le atravesara el cuello, y la Izumi Akazawa la cual muere casi al final del anime atravesada por cristales y piezas de madera. El desarrollo de los personajes en general me pareció muy bueno y mi personajes favoritos eran Mei Misaki la cual me gustó mucho aunque era el personaje que ignoraban los demás, Naoya Teshigawara el cual me parece bastante alegre y amigable, y Izumi Akazawa la cual me pareció graciosa y literalmente me dolió su fallecimiento ya que yo quería que sobreviviera.
I really liked the animation and the color palette typical for a horror series, regarding the story, although it seemed good and engaging, it also seemed very freaky due to the graphic nature of the deaths, hahaha, especially that of the teacher who cuts his neck. neck in front of the whole class, which I would say is the one that traumatized me the most, like that of the boy who dies from being hit by a boat motor when they travel to the beach, which seemed very sad to me and I would have removed it already that the chapter on the beach is my favorite despite the horrible death of a character who also seemed likeable to me. Other deaths that I would not have liked to include in the series would be those of Izumi and Yukari since, as I said before, I liked both girls a lot. I also find the story about the curse a bit freaky and that after the death of classmate Misaki years ago the class decided to pretend he was still alive, and I was even more afraid that he would appear in the class group photo. And also the story of the "extra student" who doesn't remember that he passed away, like the relatives and other people around him scared me a bit, and I was surprised to learn that he really wasn't an extra student but one of the teachers, who also turned out to be Kōichi's aunt who was discovered to have drowned 2 years ago and therefore is the cause of all the deaths, so the fact that they killed her also saddened me a little but thankfully not even Mei nor Kōichi turned out to be the extra.
La animación realmente me gustó mucho y la paleta de colores propia para una serie de terror, respecto a la historia aunque me pareció buena y enganchante también me pareció muy freaky debido a lo gráfico de las muertes jajaja en especial la del maestro que se corta el cuello frente a toda la clase la cual diría que es la que más me traumó al igual que la del chico que muere al ser golpeado por el motor de un bote cuando viajan a la playa, la cual me pareció muy triste y la hubiese quitado ya que el capitulo de la playa es mi favorito a pesar de la espantosa muerte de un personaje que también me parecía simpático. Otras muertes que no me hubiesen gustado incluir en la serie serían las de Izumi y Yukari ya que como dije con anterioridad ambas chicas me agradaron mucho. También me parece un poco freaky la historia acerca de la maldición y que tras la muerte del compañero Misaki años atrás la clase haya decidido hacer como si todavía viviera, y más miedo me dió aún que apareciera en la foto grupal de la clase. Y también la historia del "estudiante extra" el cual no recuerda que falleció, al igual que los familiares y demás personas a su alrededor me dió un poco de miedo, y me sorprendí al saber que realmente no era un estudiante extra sino una de las profesoras, la cual también resultó ser la tía de Kōichi la cual se descubre que se había ahogado 2 años atrás y por lo tanto es la causante de todas las muertes, así que el que la mataran tambien me entristeció un poco pero menos mal ni Mei ni Kōichi resultaron ser el extra.
Another thing that I loved about this anime are the opening and ending songs but I especially liked the opening called "Kyomu Densen" (凶夢伝染 / "Nightmare Contagion") sung by a band that I really like since my teens called " Ali Project" which I listen to since 2007 and I like the Gothic Lolita image of the lead singer. I would say that both the video and the song fascinated me and although I had not seen the anime from time to time, I do listen to the song since it is the one that I still have in my player. Well, in general I think the anime is quite good and I would like to recommend it to all gore anime fans who haven't seen it yet, I hope you like it as much as I do, since it was nice to see it again after so long.
Otra cosa que me encantó de este anime son las canciones de opening y ending pero en especial me gustó el opening llamado "Kyomu Densen" (凶夢伝染 / "Nightmare Contagion") cantado por una banda que me gusta mucho desde mi adolescencia llamada "Ali Project" la cual escucho desde el año 2007 y me gusta la imagen Gothic Lolita de la cantante principal. Diría que tanto el video como la canción me fascinaron y aunque tenía tiempo sin ver el anime de ves en cuando si escucho la canción ya que es la que todavía conservo en mi reproductor. Bueno, en general el anime me parece bastante bueno y me gustaría recomendarselo a todos los fans del anime gore que todavía no la hayan visto, espero que les guste tanto como a mí, ya que fué agradable volver a verla luego de tanto tiempo.
