Es allí cuando volteo mi atención a series de Tv viejas que poco o nada recuerdo para conseguirlas y empezarlas a ver desde cero. Ya que no hay nada mas que ver en tv hasta que salga alguna serie de interés a la cual le estoy haciendo cacería.
Conseguir la serie es relativamente fácil, con un amigo que tengas puedes por medio de usb te la pase si la tiene en formato mp4, o simplemente la ves desde cualquier gestor de almacenamiento en linea de tu preferencia...o telegram.
Añado que son series muy antiguas, así que son los únicos medios para este tipo de contenido
En mi caso buscando la serie la encontré en resolución 1080, en doble idioma: ingles y español, con peso de 250 MB por episodio, asi que pues partiendo del hecho de que la veré nítida, decidí comenzar a disfrutarla conectando la USB al televisor

Pasemos a la reseña:Pese a ser una serie de 1985, sinceramente para nada se siente que sea algo viejo, es decir los diseños de los personajes, la musculatura, los vehículos gozan de una muy buena simetría, asi que las proporciones físicas al moverse y al interactuar en pantalla son bastante fluidos.
Y si es extraño de expresar pero da esa sensación de que es una animación moderna ya que esta muy bien cuidada la dimensión de todo los plasmado tanto personajes como movimiento.Otro elemento es que son vehículos y tecnología futurista, asi que en ningún momento se siente ese encasillamiento de que estas viendo una serie de los 80', pues no hay referencias a los diskette, un wolman o cosas que se asocien a la época, dando un resultado de que puedes verla aun en pleno año vigente y se siente como una serie de ciencia ficción actual.
Se que esta serie en si fue creada para promocionar juguetes, pero dejame decirte que los guiones hechos por cada capitulo entregan una aventura bastante diferente, llegando al punto de que no aburre para nada. Bueno son los 80´los guionistas eran dioses creativos y pues no es como ahora que es puro mugre de libreto barato.
Ya con esos puntos comparativos honestamente la cosa entretiene...y si lo digo desde el punto de vista de alguien que empezó a ver la serie desde cero, ya que puedes devorar 80 capítulos y la cosa no se enfría como en otras series de relleno, así que básicamente buena animación y buenos guiones entregan bastante aventura.
Hay que opinar que cuando rara vez lo dan en tv abierta un episodio, seria un dia sábado en la mañana, escasamente daban 1 episodio por semana, asi que uno se daba a la idea de que era una serie corta, por eso no tengo retentiva de lo poco que vi en tv, pero al comenzar a ver la serie en MP4 son 130 episodios, osea literalmente uno por alli vio 4 a 6 episodios en su vida, de los cuales nada recuerda de ellos por lo distante de la retentiva de haberlo visto en tv.
Asi que hay que decirlo, una vez empiezas a ver la serie desde cero y de forma lineal esta engancha al espectador por las razones de guiones estructurados.
Por raro que parezca su enemigo icónico Munrra, sale muy pocas veces en pantalla, es decir se transformara, luchara e intentara aniquilar a los thundercats, fallara, pero de allí en adelante se va a su sarcófago a descansar y reponer su energía por varios episodios saliendo de pantalla y dejando su ausencia.
Suena raro de creer pero es así. Este sacerdote oscuro mientras repone su poder demoniaco simplemente mandara lacayos a seguir intentando matar a los protagonistas, entre ellos los mutantes o cuanta cosa invoque del mas alla para fastidiarlos.Es raro de explicar con palabras en texto escrito, pero créeme los enemigos harán hasta lo imposible para destruir a los thundercats y la espada del augurio.
Muchos de estos planes funcionan pero los héroes saben dar marcha atrás al problema de formas creativas o impredecibles.
Y si hay que aclarar, la espada es mágica, así que mientras tenga la gema del ojo de thundera pues hará lo que hace, "la mayor parte del tiempo es lanzar rayos, hacer barreras circulares de energía para bloquear ataques, rayos de calor, o alguna magia elemental"...pero nada se siente del otro mundo ya que la considero la espada mas como una barita de Harry Potter con hechizos muy básicos, pero tampoco al rango de destruir montañas o ciudades. asi que en ese aspecto es una barita básica de mago en forma de espada.
Pues tiene cualidades de volver a la mano de su amo cuando la invocan, y pues de paso si este la sostiene y esta en su maxima forma, la espada le permite volar por cortos periodos de tiempo.
Es básicamente una barita mágica de nivel bajo con dotes de escoba voladora.keep calm Y si se que es algo raro bajar del pedestal esta arma icónica, pero es lo que es.
Añado que tiene sentido pues su enemigo es un hechicero obscuro con esteroides que también lanzara rayos por sus manos o conjurara ataques de fuego.
Pasando en plano técnico muchas veces las espada no es del todo una carta de triunfo como una As bajo la manga, al contrario, el héroe debe pedir ayuda en todos los episodios ya que sus enemigos logran superarlo en batalla o lo someten, así que en palabras técnicas pese a su físico muscular (Leon O es una damisela en apuros). Añado que sin el animo de ofender a este héroe, pero el guion esta hecho para que la situación se le salga de las manos y deba si o si pedir apoyo.
Posdata: las situaciones no son para nada forzadas, algunas veces si no tiene ayuda pues seria su fin.
Al comienzo de la serie Leon O intenta demostrar su que no quiere usar esta técnica, pero su arrogancia le paso factura mas de una vez, asi que ya aprendido a la fuerza, apenas vea que esta en apuros usara la señal, mas que todo porque el gato snarf jugara a ser esa conciencia como pepe grillo diciéndole que pida ayuda ahora o morirás.La señal de los Thundercats aumenta su estamina al máximo tanto en el héroe como sus compañeros, haciéndoles ganar fuerza física y mental para dar ese plus en momentos de agotamiento y desesperación.
Otras veces su color rojizo sirve como campo de atracción para salvar naves espaciales hacia la tierra o despejar los cielos.
Posdata: esta señal no se anda con cosas sutiles, romperá roca solida tanto de su propio cubil felino como de cuanta fortaleza enemiga se encuentre, atravesara montañas o saldrá desde el fondo del planeta bajo tierra creando un gran cráter, así que no es una mera lucecita de linterna barata.

La verdad es un objeto fácil de romper, y a lo largo de la serie la han partido muchas veces, enemigos con fuerza bruta que con sus manos la rompen en dos, hechizos que le dan al centro del ojo de thundera acaban con su magia volviéndolo un lindo pisapapeles, entre otros personajes armados que pueden partirla bien sea en combate físico 1 vs 1 o por factor suerte.

Osea para ser mágica parece mas un radio viejo de antena que si no agarra señal, simplemente no sirve.
Tácticamente la espada es una alarma que se activa si un compañero esta en aprietos, pero como digo, muchas veces estará inutilizada por muchos factores.
Supongo que desde el punto de vista del guion es para mantener el suspenso, pero poco a poco la Mítica espada pierde su brillo cuando te sientas a analizar su esplendor al pasar de los episodios.
Añado la serie para nada es mala, como explico los guionistas y los dibujantes le echaron muchísimas ganas a la serie, así que entregan una historia entretenida que para nada cansa de ver, ya que básicamente para quien la ve de cero o si poco recuerda de ella, cada episodio es un nuevo capitulo de estreno.
A la larga se que mucha gente dirá que nada recuerda de esta serie y es totalmente comprensible, muchos solo recordaran el logo de los thudercats en una camisa o calcomanía de una motocicleta, por ello si te paso los mismo que a mi, que no tienes nada mas que ver mientras esperas tus series de temporada, la verdad recomiendo que le des una oportunidad a esta gran serie, pues como explico le metieron bastante alma al proyecto y esto se refleja en sus episodios.
