Just two days ago this series was released, @gorayii recommended it to me the day of its premiere, and after I finished watching it on Netflix, I realized that I had already downloaded it and I felt like a complete idiot because it is too normal in me that this kind of things happen, anyway, this has been one of the best terror series I've seen lately and you definitely have to watch it.
And I had to go look for the synopsis because I don't even remember how the series is described to the world, and it is as follows, for the people who live on an island everything changes with the arrival of a new priest, young, very cute, very charismatic, he can even perform miracles and has an impeccable religious speech, so much so, that makes everyone on the island attend midnight mass without fail.

Apenas hace dos días se estrenó esta serie, @gorayii me la recomendó el día de su estreno, y después de haberla terminado de ver en Netflix, me di cuenta de que ya la había descargado y me sentí como un completo idiota, pues es demasiado normal en mi que ese tipo de cosas sucedan, en fin, esta ha sido de las mejores series de terror que he visto ultimamente y definitivamente tienen que verla.
Y me tuve que ir a buscar la sinopsis porque ni siquiera recuerdo cómo es que está descrita la serie para el mundo, y es de la siguiente forma, para el pueblo que vive en una isla todo cambia con la llegada de un nuevo cura, jovencito, muy lindo, carísmatico, incluso puede llegar a realizar milagros y tiene un discurso religioso impecable, tanto así, que hace que todos en la isla asistan a la misa de medianoche sin falta.
Yes I have to make this warning, I wasn't going to do it, but I have to do it because not everyone is like me, the first two chapters are going to be super slow, too much, and although they will have many interesting things to show, it will be the prelude to all the insane events that will take place on the island and that will make us wonder too many, but too many things, if you manage to survive the first two chapters you will love the series because at the beginning of the third chapter all things will go to shit and we will be happy that it is so.
Although it has a lot of terror, drama, and eternal suspense that drowns us little by little, the strong point or the key point of the series is the criticism towards religious fanaticism that it proposes, the fact that people do not question things, that they accept 'miracles' just because they happened, that they even hate those who question it and seek to give a rational answer to something that at first glance has no explanation.
Sí tengo que hacerles este aviso, no lo iba a hacer, pero debo hacerlo porque no todos son como yo, los primeros dos capítulos van a ser super lentos, demasiado, y aunque sí van a tener muchas cosas interesantes para mostrar, pues va a ser el preludio de todos los eventos insanos que van a tener lugar en la isla y que hará que nos preguntemos demasiadas, pero demasiadas cosas, si logran sobrevivir a los primeros dos capítulos van a amar la serie, porque al comienzo del tercer capítulos todas las cosas se van a ir a la mierda y vamos a estar felices de que sea así.
Aunque tiene mucho terror, drama, y un suspenso eterno que nos va ahogando poco a poco, el punto fuerte o el punto clave de la serie es la crítica hacia el fanatismo religioso que nos propone, el hecho de que la gente no se cuestione las cosas, que acepte 'los milagros' solo que sucedieron, que incluso lleguen a odiar a los que lo cuestionan y buscan darle una respuesta racional a algo que a simple vista no tiene explicación.
Now yes, what I came to, I have to say that I hate Bev's wretched bitch daughter of the devil, she has been the most desperate character I have met in the last years, I think that until now no other character had made me want to smash her head against the ground over and over again until the pieces of skull cut my fingers. Don't get me wrong, the character is a gem, she's perfectly made, but she's a wretched bitch who deserves to be burning in hell getting slapped forever with a burning piece of metal. My respects to the actress who embodies her, because she is a master, I love her, but I hate that character.
The rest of the performances are going to be fair and perfect, no more, no less, but each time they are going to surprise us little by little and we will be more than satisfied with everything that is happening, it is one of those series where everything is connected and related, I love it, nothing is lost and every minute is enjoyed perfectly. The performance of the father is also perfect, and as a rare thing, the unfortunate Bev, the most devoted person in the can is going to be by his side, so we will see her a lot and we will hate her a lot more.
Ahora sí, a lo que vine, tengo que decir que odio a la perra malnacida desgraciada hija del diablo de Bev, ha sido el personaje más desesperante que he conocido en los últimos años, creo que hasta los momentos ningun otro personaje me había hecho querer aplastarle la cabeza contra el suelo una y otra vez hasta que los pedazos de craneo me cortaran los dedos. No piensen mal, el personaje es una joya, está perfectamente hecho, pero es que es una perra desgraciada que merece estar ardiendo en el infierno recibiendo cachetadas eternas con un pedazo de metal ardiendo. Mis respetos para la actriz que la personifica, porque es una maestra, la amo, pero odio a ese personaje.
El resto de actuaciones van a ser justas y perfectas, ni más, ni menos, pero cada vez nos van a ir sorprendiendo poco a poco y estaremos más que satisfechos con todo lo que está sucediendo, es una de esas series donde todo está conectado y relacionado, me encanta, nada tiene pérdida y cada minuto se disfruta perfectamente. La actuación del padre también es perfecta, y como cosa rara, la desgraciada de Bev, la persona más devota del puedo va a estar a su lado, así que la veremos mucho y la odiaremos mucho más.
This series has one of the best endings I've seen lately, too good, perfect, it's a circle that has no mess and that satisfies everyone equally, although there will still be people complaining, fuck, it's perfect, it's even heavenly, and speaking of that, I think it's the series I've seen that has more religious songs than anything else because they spend a lot of time singing in the church, but it did not bore me at all, religious music is too good not to appreciate it.

Esta serie tiene uno de los mejores finales que he visto ultimamante, demasiado bueno, perfcto, es un circulo que no tiene desarreglos y que satisface a todos por igual, aunque igual va a haber gente quejándose, pero es que joder, es perfecto, es celestial incluso, y hablando de eso, creo que es la serie que he visto que tiene más canciones religiosas que otra cosa, pues se la pasan cantando en la iglesia mucho tiempo, pero no me aburrió para nada, la musica religosa es demasiado buena como para no apreciarla.
Ahí les dejo el trailer, les agradezco que lo vean y que después vayan a ver la serie solo para que odian a Bev, se cuestionen sus creencias religiosas y se intriguen por completo con todo lo que sucede ahí, podría hacerles miles de spoilers, pero como hablaba con Gora mientras veía la serie, no me hace falta contar nada.
