On January 23 the Oscar nominations were announced and in this post I will give my opinion on some of the nominations and which ones are my favorites.

What some feared has just happened. Complete nonsense I saw yesterday when the nominations were announced. The film Emilia Perez has garnered a large number of nominations. This seems like a joke. There is still more than a month to go until March 2, the day of the awards ceremony, but you can already tell that Hollywood Woke is angry with the political environment. That's the only explanation for some of the nominations that seem like nonsense to me.
There are ten films nominated in the Best Picture category. The worst of them all, to me, is Emilia Perez. She should not be there. I already made my opinion very clear in a post. If consistency prevails, the winner should be The Brutalist, having already won the Golden Globe in the Drama category. Although Anora is one of my favorites for its Indie style. Sustancia with its nomination should already feel rewarded. Dune Part II is a great film, but surely the academy will wait for Part III to decide to give it the top award. I hope common sense really rewards the best and the academy doesn't do one of its barbarities just for politics.
Acaba de ocurrir lo que algunos temen. Un completo disparate que vi ayer cuando se anunciaron las nominaciones. La película Emilia Pérez ha obtenido un gran número de nominaciones. Esto parece una broma. Todavía falta más de un mes para el 2 de marzo, día de la entrega de premios, pero ya se nota que Hollywood Woke está enfadado con el ambiente político. Es la única explicación para algunas de las nominaciones que me parecen un disparate.
Hay diez películas nominadas en la categoría de mejor película. La peor de todas, para mí, es Emilia Pérez. No debería estar ahí. Ya dejé muy clara mi opinión en un post. Si se impone la coherencia, la ganadora debería ser El Brutalista, al haber ganado ya el Globo de Oro en la categoria Drama. Aunque Anora es una de mis favoritas por su estilo Indie. Sustancia con su nominación ya debería sentirse recompensada. Dune segunda parte es una gran película, pero seguramente la academia esperará a la tercera para decidirse a darle el máximo galardón. Espero que el sentido común realmente premie lo mejor y la academia no haga una de sus barbaridades solo por política.
Best Actor, Adrien Brody remains the favorite, but Sebastian Stan has been nominated for his portrayal of Trump. Maybe he will be the one to snatch the award away from Brody and the academy will go for the president. I think Stan does an excellent job and the other contenders also deserve to be on the short list. I like all the actors. But my vote would be for Brody.
Best ActressOh my goodness! This category is where it gets the most absurd of all. Here I want Demi Moore to win. She deserves it. It's a historical debt and it's time to collect. Although Micky Madison is lovely in Anora and is also another favorite. These two actresses are the ones I'm rooting for. Now, I am against a biological man being nominated for best actress. It is no longer enough for biological men to take away spaces from real women in sports or beauty pageants. They want to displace them in this too and only because of progressive ideologies that have done so much damage. Mr. Karal Sofia Gascon's performance is very soap opera style, where he has a lot of experience before becoming hormonal. I find this nomination an insult to real women. The academy could give him the award just because of his anger with Trump's policies. A despelote all this.
Mejor actor, Adrien Brody sigue siendo el favorito, pero Sebastian Stan ha sido nominado por su interpretación de Trump. Quizá sea él quien le arrebate el premio a Brody y la academia se decante por el presidente. Creo que Stan hace un trabajo excelente y los otros contendientes también merecen estar en la lista corta. Me gustan todos los actores. Pero mi voto sería para Brody.
Mejor actriz ¡Dios mío! En esta categoría es donde está lo mas absurdo de todos. Aquí quiero que ga ne Demi Moore. Se lo merece. Es una deuda histórica y es hora de cobrarla. Aunque Micky Madison está encantadora en Anora y también es otra de las favoritas. Estas dos actrices son las que apoyo. Ahora bien, estoy en contra de que un hombre biológico sea nominado a mejor actriz. Ya no basta con que los hombres biológicos quiten espacios a las mujeres reales en los deportes o en los concursos de belleza. También quieren desplazarlas en esto y sólo por ideologías progresistas que tanto daño han hecho. El interpretacion del señor Karal Sofia Gascon es muy al estilo telenovela, donde el tiene bastante experiencia antes de hormonarse. Me parece un insulto a las mujeres reales esta nominación. La academia prodria darle el premio solo por su enfado con las políticas de Trump. Un despelote todo esto.
Supporting Actor have a tough fight. Kieran Culkin, Guy Pearce and Jeremy Strong have the best chances. I think it will be a repeat of the Golden Globes. Culkin will win for A Real Pain. The same will be true for Supporting Actress. Zoe Saldana is emerging as the favorite. She does better in Emilia Perez. So let's get ready for another feminist and racial vindication speech for that night. There are many actors and actresses I admire for their work, but when they get all activist, they repulse me.
Best International Film. I'm sure it will go to Emilia Perez. The Hollywood academy seems to be willing to do anything to impose that film that is in tune with what they stand for. They follow an agenda. Hopefully Aun Estoy Aquí can pull off the upset, but the academy members, where there are also openly anti-Trump actors, are bleeding from the wound. The worst will also happen with the Best Original Song category. Instead of giving the award to a real song, well composed, they are going to give it to El Mal (by Emilia Perez), a song that is not a song. Total mediocrity.
Wicked and Dune will share some technical awards. Special effects, costume design, makeup, sound, etc. I don't plan to watch this ceremony. I will follow it on social media until I fall asleep. I won't be in the mood to listen to Hollywood millionaires with their political speeches. These are people who live in a bubble and are disconnected from real life, so their ideas about a certain trend, no longer resonate with people.

Actor de reparto tienen una dura lucha. Kieran Culkin, Guy Pearce y Jeremy Strong son los que tienen más posibilidades. Creo que se repetirá lo de los Globos de Oro. Culkin ganará por A Real Pain. Lo mismo ocurrirá con la actriz de reparto. Zoe Saldana se perfila como la favorita. Lo hace mejor en Emilia Pérez. Así que preparémonos para otro discurso feminista y de reivindicación racial para esa noche. Hay muchos actores y actrices a los que admiro por su trabajo, pero cuando se ponen en plan activista, me repugnan.
Mejor película internacional. Estoy segura de que será para Emilia Pérez. La academia de Hollywood parece dispuesta a todo para imponer esa película que está en sintonía con lo que ellos defienden. Siguen una agenda. Ojalá Aun Estoy Aquí pueda dar la sorpresa, pero los miembros de la academia, donde también hay actores abiertamente contrarios a Trump, están sangrando por la herida. Lo peor ocurrirá también con la categoría de Mejor Canción Original. En lugar de dar el premio a una canción de verdad, bien compuesta, se lo van a dar a El Mal (de Emilia Pérez), una canción que no es una canción. Mediocridad total.
Wicked y Dune compartirán algunos premios técnicos. Efectos especiales, diseño de vestuario, maquillaje, sonido, etc. No pienso ver esta ceremonia. La seguiré por las redes sociales hasta que me duerma. No estaré de humor para escuchar a los millonarios de Hollywood con sus discursos políticos. Son personas que viven en una burbuja y están desconectadas de la vida real, por lo que sus ideas sobre una determinada tendencia, ya no resuenan en la gente.
