Dear friends of the Movies and TV Shows community, I hope you are great, today I want to talk to you a little bit about an interesting series.. in this review I will give you my opinions of: Spinning Out! The series is about Kat's life, a skater who is super talented, but her life goes downhill when she has a nasty accident that almost takes her out of the game forever.... From the very first moment, I was hooked by how the series gets right into her problems, not only skating, but also in her head, watching Kat, played brutally by Kaya Scodelario, struggling with her fears and her bipolar disorder was an intense emotional journey, at first, I thought “a skating series, what?”, but the mix of the breathtaking routines and the soul-crushing personal drama grabbed me at the touch.
There's something very real about watching someone fighting with everything to regain their passion after something terrible happens to them, while Kat tries to get back to skating like before, also dealing with the mistakes she made and her mental health issues that are always there, and believe me, it's not just about spins and falls on the ice, but about how we all struggle with fear and self-doubt. But what I liked the most was how they show Kat's bipolar disorder... they don't put it there just for drama, it's an important part of her, and they treat it with a lot of respect... the show plays it lightly, but you can tell they give it enough time and respect, to me, who is interested in how they show these issues on TV, that's great... it's a relief to see a story where the disorder is not just an invention for the plot, but it's part of who Kat is, and affects everything: her decisions, her relationships and even how she skates.

Queridos amigos de la comunidad de Movies and TV Shows, espero que estén genial, el día de hoy quiero hablarles un poco de una serie interesante.. en esta reseña les daré mis opiniones de: Spinning Out! La serie trata de la vida de Kat, una patinadora que es súper talentosa, pero su vida se va al piso cuando tiene un accidente feo que casi la saca del juego para siempre.. desde el primer momento, me enganchó cómo la serie se mete de lleno en sus problemas, no solo patinando, sino también en su cabeza, ver a Kat, que la hace brutal Kaya Scodelario, luchando contra sus miedos y su trastorno bipolar fue un viaje emocional intenso, al principio, pensé "una serie de patinaje, ¿qué?", pero la mezcla de las rutinas que te dejan sin aliento y el drama personal que te parte el alma me atrapó al toque.
Es que hay algo muy real en ver a alguien peleando con todo para recuperar su pasión después de que algo terrible le pasa, mientras Kat intenta volver a patinar como antes, también carga con los errores que cometió y con sus problemas de salud mental que siempre están ahí, y créanme, no es solo de piruetas y caídas en el hielo, sino de cómo luchamos todos contra el miedo y las dudas. Pero a mí lo que más me gustó fue cómo muestran el trastorno bipolar de Kat.. no lo ponen ahí solo por drama, sino que es parte importante de ella, y lo tratan con mucho respeto.. la serie lo toca suave, pero se nota que le dan el suficiente tiempo y respeto, a mí, que me interesa cómo muestran estos temas en la tele, eso me parece genial.. es un alivio ver una historia donde el trastorno no es solo un invento para la trama, sino que es parte de quién es Kat, y afecta todo: sus decisiones, sus relaciones y hasta cómo patina.
And speaking of relationships, the vibe between Kat and her best friend is great too how she interacts with the Russian trainer, they give a nice balance to the story, you know? the friend brings relaxed moments that contrast with all the intense drama of Kat, and the Russian trainer is more direct, no mincing words, which makes everything more real. . these characters help to make sure that even though the show is full of drama, you never forget how important human connections and having people to support you are... I ended up rooting for these characters not just because they skate brutally, but because of how important they are to Kat's recovery.
Now, let's talk about the skating! what a level of skating.. the production quality is amazing, with camera shots that are some of the most beautiful I've seen in series like this, the angles are super thought out to show how graceful and intense the routines are... every turn, every jump and every fall on the ice is filmed in a way that gets you right into the action, you almost feel the cold and the adrenaline, I was really surprised to see how the actors made an effort to learn how to skate, that gives an incredible realism to the series... seeing them practice, fall and at the end do the difficult moves made me appreciate more how hard this sport is. But be warned, not everything is rosy: the series is a non-stop drama.. sometimes, it seems like the amount of tragedies and personal problems is too much.. it's like every character has to go through one misfortune after another, and sometimes that distracts a little bit from how amazing the skating itself is.. there were scenes where I thought: “Let's see, can we breathe a little bit from so much bad stuff?”.. so much emotion together may not please everyone, but that it makes you talk about the series, for sure! For those who like stories with a lot of tension, this is a plus, but if you're looking for something more balanced, so much suffering can get a little tiring.
Y hablando de relaciones, ¡la onda entre Kat y su mejor amiga es genial también cómo interactúa con la entrenadora rusa, le dan un buen balance a la historia, ¿sabes? la amiga aporta momentos relajados que contrastan con todo el drama intenso de Kat, y la entrenadora rusa es más directa, sin pelos en la lengua, lo que hace que todo sea más real.. estos personajes ayudan a que, aunque la serie esté llena de dramas, nunca se olvide de lo importante que son las conexiones humanas y tener gente que te apoye.. yo terminé apoyando a estos personajes no solo porque patinan brutal, sino por lo importantes que son para que Kat se recupere.
Ahora, ¡hablemos del patinaje! qué nivel de patinaje.. la calidad de la producción es impresionante, con unas tomas de cámara que son de las más bonitas que he visto en series así, los ángulos están súper pensados para mostrar lo elegante y lo intenso de las rutinas.. cada giro, cada salto y cada caída en el hielo está filmado de una forma que te mete de lleno en la acción, casi sientes el frío y la adrenalina, me sorprendió un montón ver cómo los actores se esforzaron por aprender a patinar, eso le da un realismo increíble a la serie.. verlos practicar, caerse y al final hacer los movimientos difíciles me hizo valorar más lo duro que es ese deporte. Pero ojo, no todo es color de rosa: la serie es un drama que no para.. a veces, parece que la cantidad de tragedias y problemas personales es demasiado.. es como si cada personaje tuviera que pasar por una desgracia tras otra, y a veces eso distrae un poco de lo increíble que es el patinaje en sí.. hubo escenas en las que pensé: "A ver, ¿podemos respirar un poco de tanta cosa mala?".. puede que tanta emoción junta no le guste a todo el mundo, pero de que te hace hablar de la serie, ¡seguro! Para los que les gustan las historias con mucha tensión, esto es un punto a favor, pero si buscas algo más equilibrado, tanto sufrimiento puede cansar un poco.
Despite everything, the series never completely forgets about skating, that is, it mixes the technical with the emotional drama, although sometimes the personal drama beats the sport, to be honest... but still, you appreciate that the series is not afraid to touch on strong themes like alcoholism, obsession and families that are a mess, that gives an intense depth to the characters... these themes leave you thinking a lot, from the pressure to always look perfect to the real mental and physical health problems that many athletes suffer from. It's that bravery to show the dark side of ambition that makes this series different, and another thing I found interesting was the open ending... you're left wondering what's going to happen to Kat and her team.... with all the comments about if the series was successful or not, and the rumors of it being cancelled, you feel like you are watching a story that fizzled out, and this ending like this, without closure, left me with a mix of curiosity and anger, it seems like the creators wanted to leave us thinking, for us fans to put together theories and discuss, personally, this just made me more eager to see how it all ends, and it's sad how it all turned out.
A pesar de todo, la serie nunca se olvida completamente del patinaje, o sea, mezcla lo técnico con el drama emocional, aunque a veces el drama personal le gana al deporte, siendo sincero.. pero igual, se agradece que la serie no tenga miedo de tocar temas fuertes como el alcoholismo, la obsesión y las familias que son un desastre, eso le da una profundidad intensa a los personajes.. estos temas te dejan pensando un montón, desde la presión por verse siempre perfecto hasta los problemas reales de salud mental y física que sufren muchos atletas. Es esa valentía para mostrar el lado oscuro de la ambición lo que hace que esta serie sea diferente, y otra cosa que me pareció interesante fue el final abierto.. te quedas con la duda de qué va a pasar con Kat y su equipo.. con todos los comentarios sobre si la serie fue exitosa o no, y los rumores de que la cancelan, sientes como que estás viendo una historia que se esfumó, y este final así, sin cerrar, me dejó con una mezcla de curiosidad y rabia, parece que los creadores querían dejarnos pensando, para que los fans armemos teorías y discutamos, personalmente, esto solo me dio más ganas de ver cómo termina todo, y es triste como resultó todo.
Throughout the series, my expectations were changing a lot... I went in thinking it was going to be the typical sports drama, but I ended up watching a story that mixes the adrenaline of skating with a super real and emotional portrait of Kat's internal struggle, it blew my mind how the series balances the crazy skating scenes with how vulnerable the main character is... the evolution of her, who at the beginning was a character that you didn't connect much, to someone you end up empathizing with a lot, is one of the best things of the series. Kaya Scodelario does an incredible job conveying every emotion with an intensity that leaves you deep in her world...
At the end of the day, this is a series that I enjoyed a lot, even though it leaves you with a tight heart, it's a drama that grabs you, with performances that are another level, stunning photography and a story that, although sometimes overdramatic, keeps you hooked. If you like sports stories, self-improvement and intense emotional dramas, it's worth watching... now, the million dollar question: do you dare to give it a chance considering that the story doesn't end in a closed way? I give it a rating of 7.5/10. Durante toda la serie, mis expectativas fueron cambiando un montón.. yo entré pensando que iba a ser el típico drama de deportes, pero terminé viendo una historia que mezcla la adrenalina del patinaje con un retrato súper real y emocional de la lucha interna de Kat, me voló la cabeza cómo la serie equilibra las escenas de patinaje que son una locura con lo vulnerable que es la protagonista.. la evolución de ella, que al principio era un personaje como que no conectabas mucho, a alguien con quien terminas empatizando un montón, es de lo mejor de la serie. Kaya Scodelario hace un increíble trabajo transmitiendo cada emoción con una intensidad que te deja metidísimo en su mundo..
Al final del día, esta es una serie que disfruté un montón, a pesar de que te deja el corazón apretado, es un drama que te atrapa, con unas actuaciones que son otro nivel, una fotografía impresionante y una historia que, aunque a veces se pasa de dramática, te mantiene enganchado. Si te gustan las historias de deporte, de superación personal y de dramas emocionales intensos, de pana que vale la pena verla.. ahora, la pregunta del millón: ¿te animas a darle una oportunidad teniendo en cuenta que la historia no termina de manera cerrada? Yo le doy una calificación de 7.5/10.
