Sin más que agregar prepárense para cazar engendros pues estamos por comenzar.

La construcción del mundo es interesante, mediante este apartado se da un vistazo rápido a todos los elementos que componen el mundo de la película, lo anterior lo logra mediante algunos contextos que buscan reflejar lo peligroso y mortal que es dicho mundo, así como las diferentes riñas y problemas que existen en su sociedad tanto con los sucesos del presente como con aquellos remanentes del pasado que aún repercuten en la actualidad. Todo lo mencionado anteriormente hace que en general la ambientación se sienta muy enriquecida, si bien nada de lo mencionado se detalla en profundidad es de elogiar que con tan poco tiempo en pantalla se haya podido dar vida a su mundo de forma tan buena.

La trama deja claro desde el vamos a donde va, el filme desde el primer momento promete que contendrá una cantidad insana tanto de sangre como de enfrentamientos, promesa que es cumplida con creces, siendo que todos los combates que tiene son sumamente entretenidos y llaman mucho la atención por lo estilizados que son. Narrativamente es un estilo sobre sustancia, su principal enfoque es mostrar como los brujos luchan contra toda clase de abominaciones, como mencione en el apartado anterior se le da cierto foco a los problemas que tiene su sociedad, esto no es desarrollado de ninguna forma pero tiene cierto grado de peso narrativo por lo que se encuentra bien introducido. La cinta tiene una duración bastante corta por lo que es muy digerible, algo que destaca en algunas oportunidades fueron los pequeños ápices de exploración tanto del mundo como de intentar tener una narrativa más compleja, algo que desgraciadamente no se vio mejor por el corto tiempo, hubiese estado bien que más que un filme fuese una miniserie animada para ahondar más a fondo en lo antes mencionado.

The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf es un filme bien logrado que sabe plantearse un objetivo y conseguirlo de forma excelente, si bien tiene una excelente cantidad de violencia y vísceras volando decide ir un poco más allá dando algo de contexto tanto del pasado como del presente a fin de tener una construcción un poco más compleja que solo enfrentamientos sangrientos sin más. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3.5 estrellas de 7, cumple lo que promete y es sumamente agradable de ver si eres fan de los combates bien animados, lo único de lo que podría quejarme es del hecho que no dura un poco más para disfrutar más de su rico y vasto mundo.
