Each town has its culture and idiosyncrasy that characterizes them, which represents their roots. Myths, legends, folklore, characters of the people and many other things. As for Japanese society, it has always been disciplined, respectful and organized. Their poems known as haikus and anime are part of their cultural tradition. Its gastronomy is based on fish and rice, where the famous sushi is the king of Japanese cuisine.
In the history of the Japanese people they speak of legendary warriors, for whom honor and courage were their flags. They are controversial characters, for some they were barbarians and without culture and for others they were warriors with codes and for which honor was one of their main values. Truth! Or lie! I don't know. In the film "The Last Samurai" their way of life is depicted. And how they became extinct in Japan.
Honor, loyalty and betrayal are raised in this film. For some human beings these words mean nothing because they have lost their way, and go through life believing they own the world and trampling on everyone. They have forgotten ethics, honesty, truth. Above all, honor. The pledged word is the only thing a human being has and from my point of view the one who did not respect an agreement is a man without honor or values.
This film made me think about destiny and if it is true that it is waiting for us somewhere along the way and that it is impossible to escape because it always catches up with us. Nathan travels so far to meet a different society where he finds love. He is captured during the battle between the Emperor and the Samurai, and from there begins a great story.

The Last Samurai is an American film starring Tom Cruise and Ken Watanabe. Released in 2004, under the direction of American director Edward Zwick. It lasts about two hours, is a classic film and a box office hit. The war scenes are strong but very good. It is a story based on real life, about the Samurai's opposition to modernism and their confrontations with the Emperor.
Historically, the Samurai rebel against the system, then are attacked and disappear. The few who survived were banished. Of this caste of warriors only legends remain. The plot of the film The Last Samurai revolves around Nathan, a captain who arrives in Japan to train the Emperor's troops for the battle against the Samurai. To train them not in the traditional way, but with guns, gunpowder cannons and weapons.
Captain Nathan during the battle is kidnapped by the Samurai, whose leader is Katsumoto, they learn from each other about their cultures and values. The captain manages to solve his inner conflicts, appease his tormented soul, give meaning to his life and find love. Twenty years ago this film came to the cinema and I like it very much. I have seen it many times friends of #Movies&Shows,
I fell in love with the scenery, costumes and soundtrack. Also the customs, traditions. Above all, that spiritual side that human beings need to achieve balance and that is above the material things that are present in this film. On the other hand, I consider that the performances were up to par, especially from one of my favorite actors, Tom Cruise.

My applause for the direction, script and all those who put their grain of sand to make this film, something unforgettable.

Cada pueblo tiene su cultura e idiosincrasia que los caracteriza, lo cual representa sus raíces. Mitos, leyendas, folclore, personajes del pueblo y así muchas otras cosas. En cuanto a la sociedad japonesa, desde siempre ha sido disciplinada, respetuosa y organizada. Sus poemas conocidos como haikus y los animes son parte de su tradición cultural. Su gastronomía se basa en pescado y arroz, donde el famoso sushi es el rey de la cocina japonesa.
En la historia el pueblo japonés se habla de guerreros legendarios, para lo cual el honor y el valor eran sus banderas. Son personajes controversiales, para algunos eran bárbaros y sin cultura y para otros eran guerreros con códigos y para lo cual el honor era uno de sus principales valores. ¡Verdad! O ¡mentira! No lo sé. En el filme “El último samurái” se plasma su forma de vida. Y de cómo se fueron extinguiendo en Japón.
El Honor, la lealtad y la traición, se plantean en esta película. Para algunos seres humanos estas palabras no significan nada porque han perdido el camino, y van por la vida creyéndose que son sus dueños del mundo y pisoteando a todos. Se les olvidó la ética, la honradez, la verdad. Sobre todo, el honor. La palabra empeñada es lo único que tiene el ser humano y desde mi punto de vista el que no respetaba un acuerdo es un hombre sin honor ni valores.
Este filme me hizo pensar sobre el destino y si será cierto que nos espera en algún lugar del camino y que es imposible escapar porque siempre nos alcanza. Nathan viaja tan lejos para encontrarse con una sociedad diferente y en la cual encuentra el amor. Es capturado durante la batalla que libra el Emperador y los Samurái, ya partir de allí comienza una gran historia.

El Último Samurái es una película estadunidense protagonizada por Tom Cruise y Ken Watanabe. Estrenada en el año 2004, bajo la dirección del estadounidense Edward Zwick. Dura aproximadamente dos horas, es un clásico del cine y un filme taquillero. Las escenas de guerra son fuertes pero buenísimas. Es una historia basada en la vida real, sobre la oposición de los Samuráis al modernismo y sus enfrentamientos con el Emperador.
Históricamente, los Samuráis se rebelan en contra del sistema, luego son atacados y desaparecen. Los pocos que sobreviven fueron desterrados. De esta casta de guerreros solo quedan leyendas. La trama del filme El Último Samurái gira en torno a Nathan, capitán que llega al Japón a entrenar a las tropas del Emperador para la batalla contra los Samuráis. A entrenarlos no de la manera tradicional, sino con armas, cañones con pólvora y armas.
El capitán Nathan durante la batalla es secuestrado por los Samuráis, cuyo líder es Katsumoto, estos aprenden uno del otro sobre sus culturas y valores. El capitán logra solucionar sus conflictos internos, apaciguar su alma atormentada, le da sentido a su vida y encuentra el amor. Hace veinte años llego al cine este filme y a mí me gusta mucho. La he visto muchas veces amigos de #Movies&Shows,
Quede enamorada del paisaje, vestuario y la banda sonora. También de las costumbres, tradiciones. Sobre todo, ese lado espiritual que necesitan los seres humanos para lograr el equilibrio y que está por encima de las cosas materiales y que están presentes en esta película. Por otro lado, considero que las actuaciones estuvieron a la altura, sobre todo de uno de mis actores preferidos, Tom Cruise.

Sin duda, los Samuráis forman parte de la cultura tradicional del pueblo japonés. Un pueblo donde la religión, el honor, los ancestros, la familia y el respeto son fundamentos de la sociedad. Mis aplausos para la dirección, guion y a todos los que pusieron su granito de arena para hacer de esta película, algo inolvidable.

Los seres humanos en algún momento de la vida pueden desviarse del camino, pero tarde o temprano los alcanza su destino. Aun así, pueden volver a reencontrarse consigo mismo, sanar sus heridas, lograr el equilibrio, la paz que necesitan y sobre todo encontrar el amor verdadero y puro. Para reconstruir su vida. El amigo Nathan es un ejemplo de ello.
Amigos de la Comunidad de #Movies&Shows, les traigo otra película viejita, de hace veinte años, conocida como “El Último Samurái”, pero muy buena con el amigo Tom Cruise. Se las recomiendo.
