Hello, friends! I don't know if any of you remember this wonderful TV show, but in my childhood, I used to have wonderful mornings watching it. I was very little, but I have some memories of this gem of children's television, and my mom tells me that I would always run out when it was getting close to time, to ask her to tune in to the channel where my favorite show was on. If you are around my age, you will remember it and feel nostalgic, so I invite you to embark on the time machine and join me in this post.
¡Hola amigos! No sé si alguno de ustedes se acuerda de este maravilloso programa de televisión, pero en mi infancia, pasaba unas mañanas maravillosas viéndolo. Era muy pequeña, pero tengo algunos recuerdos de esta joya de la televisión infantil, y mi mamá me cuenta que yo siempre salía corriendo cuando se acercaba la hora, para pedirle que sintonizara el canal donde estaba mi programa favorito. This beautiful program from the eighties, told us the story of a girl named Rainbow Brite who is the guardian of a place known as Rainbowland, which was in danger of falling into darkness. Rainbow Brite, with the help of the white sprite named Twink, and her wonderful Starlite corselet, armed with her colorful belt, confronts Murky Dismal and his sidekick Lurky to prevent them from appropriating the colors of that precious magical land.
Este precioso programa de los ochenta, nos contaba la historia de una niña llamada Rainbow Brite, que es la guardiana de un lugar conocido como Rainbowland, que estaba en peligro de caer en la oscuridad. Rainbow Brite, con la ayuda del sprite blanco llamado Twink, y su maravilloso corsel Starlite, armada con su cinturón de colores, se enfrenta a Murky Dismal y su compinche Lurky para evitar que se apropien de los colores de ese precioso país mágico.
This beautiful blonde girl also had the help of many little friends, (David and the colorful children) and they faced other villains like The Dark Princess, Count Blogg and Sergeant Zombo. All of them kept her very busy, trying to save that beautiful and paradisiacal place.

On November 6, 2014 a new version of this animated series was released through the VOD website Feeln. The design of the characters had a transformation to make them more modern evidently, although I like the more chubby, childish and tender look of the eighties, the updated characters look more stylized.

El diseño de los personajes sufrió una transformación para hacerlos más modernos evidentemente, aunque me gusta más la apariencia más regordeta, infantil y tierna de los ochenta, los personajes actualizados lucen más estilizados.
Despite being very small, (I was two years old) I remember very clearly, the deep voice of the horse and the security that he transmitted to me, besides the tenderness that the nice Twink generated in me, he seemed very fluffy and nice and I wanted to have him for me, hehe.
A pesar de ser muy pequeña, (tenía dos años) yo recuerdo con mucha claridad, la voz grave del caballo y la seguridad que él me transmitía, además de la ternura que me generaba el simpático Twink, me parecía muy esponjoso y agradable y quería tenerlo para mí, jeje.
Well, friends, this has been all for today's post, I hope you liked it. It's amazing to see how a simple TV show can mark someone positively or negatively, in my case it was a positive aspect that I remember very fondly, a wonderful time where innocence, colors and magic seemed to envelop everything around me, during the minutes that the TV show lasted, or at least that's how it seemed to me back then, when I was only a couple of years old.
Bueno, amigos, esto ha sido todo por el post de hoy, espero que les haya gustado. Es increíble ver como un simple programa de televisión puede marcar positiva o negativamente a alguien, en mi caso fue un aspecto positivo que recuerdo con mucho cariño, una época maravillosa donde la inocencia, los colores y la magia parecían envolver todo a mi alrededor durante los minutos que duraba el programa de televisión, o al menos eso me parecía en ese entonces, cuando solo tenía un par de años de vida.
