As I have told you before, I am a movie fanatic and my favorite hobby is watching movies, so when I saw that this movie was about to be released I couldn't wait. My opinion about: Don't Breathe 2.
En mi casa siempre hemos tenido la bonita costumbre de ver películas en familia, acomodarnos todos en la sala de la casa, hacer cotufas y disfrutar de una película, esto nos hace sentir más unidos y así pasamos tiempo de calidad juntos, en esta oportunidad después de varios meses sin poder hacerlo tuvimos una noche de película con lo que al principio (y no tengo idea de por qué) me pareció una PRECUELA de la película original pero al transcurrir la película logré notar que no era así, que estos acontecimientos sucedieron después de la primera película.
In my house we have always had the nice habit of watching movies as a family, we all settle down in the living room, make some cookies and enjoy a movie, this makes us feel more united and we spend quality time together, this time after several months without being able to do so we had a movie night with what at first (and I have no idea why) seemed to me a PRECUELA of the original movie but as the movie went on I noticed that it was not so, that these events happened after the first movie.
Para ser honesta yo me esperaba una película donde Norman Nordstrom (el hombre ciego) seria el doble de lo terrible que fue durante la primera película, sin una pizca de piedad y la verdad es que me lleve una grata sorpresa porque a pesar de que la película si estuvo cargada de escenas cargadas de adrenalina y acción (también acepto que un poco más violento de lo normal) nos permitieron conocer a un Norman que tiene sentimientos, a un hombre como todos los demás con debilidades y con algo de corazón, tampoco quiero decir que su personaje haya tenido una vida integra porque les estaría mintiendo, solo que entre tantos giros inesperados no me imaginé que este hombre ciego hiciera el papel del bueno por esta vez.
To be honest I was expecting a movie where Norman Nordstrom (the blind man) would be twice as terrible as he was during the first movie, without a shred of mercy and the truth is that I was pleasantly surprised because even though the movie was loaded with adrenaline and action scenes (I also accept that a little more violent than usual) we got to know a Norman who has feelings, a man like everyone else with weaknesses and with some heart, I don't want to say that his character has had an integrated life because I would be lying to you, just that among so many unexpected twists I didn't imagine that this blind man would play the role of the good guy this time.
Es una película cargada de sorpresas y algunos giros inesperados que nos hacen darnos cuenta que las cosas no siempre son como aparentan ser y el cuidado que debemos tener incluso de quién menos lo esperamos, respecto a las actuaciones solo diré que si no nos había quedado claro con la primera película, Stephen Lang es un súper actor que a mí parecer trabajo mucho el área física y no precisamente por las escenas de acción, sino por la manera de utilizar el lenguaje corporal para transmitir emociones fuertes de manera sutil! Les diría que la película es un 10/10 pero tiene algunos momentos dónde se vuelve algo ... Lenta? Por no decir tediosa, pero para quienes nos gusta disfrutar con calma de una peliculita está bastante bien, me gusto mucho la parte importante que tienen los animales y como realzaron su sentido de lealtad hacia quien los respeta y valora, nada más ahí tienen 10000 puntos para mí.
It is a film full of surprises and some unexpected twists that make us realize that things are not always as they appear to be and the care we must have even who we least expect, regarding the performances I will only say that if we had not been clear with the first film, Stephen Lang is a super actor who in my opinion worked a lot the physical area and not just for the action scenes, but by the way of using body language to convey strong emotions in a subtle way! I would say that the movie is a 10/10 but it has some moments where it gets a bit ... Slow? Not to say tedious, but for those of us who like to enjoy calmly a little movie it's pretty good, I really liked the important part that the animals have and how they enhanced their sense of loyalty to those who respect and value them, that's all, they have 10000 points for me.
Un detalle que llegue a pensar fue que luego de la primera película todos quedamos intrigados por el personaje de Norman, sobre como alguien que parecia indefenso resultó tener tantos secretos y incluso ser más peligroso que los supuestos ladrones y quizás por eso decidieron centrar la secuela en él, para conocer un poco más este personaje y a fin de cuentas me pareció una buena idea. Sin embargo, con el giro que le dieron siento que lo que solía ser una buena película de suspenso a solo ser una película más de acción, así que CREO que quizás no tenga el mismo impacto que su primera película.
One detail I came to think about was that after the first movie we were all intrigued by Norman's character, about how someone who seemed helpless turned out to have so many secrets and even be more dangerous than the supposed thieves and maybe that's why they decided to focus the sequel on him, to get to know this character a little more and in the end I thought it was a good idea. However, with the twist they gave it I feel like what used to be a good thriller to just being more of an action movie, so I BELIEVE it may not have the same impact as their first film.
