Review Nezha The Touching Story of the Rebel God
Hi movie lovers ! Welcome to my blog again. 🤗
Have you ever felt like the world see you as something you're not? And you shout "This is real me.!!" but other people only see the labels you've been stuck with. That feeling runs through every scene in Nezha. This isn't just another animated film, but a reflection on destiny and the struggle to become who you are.
This film immediately drew me into Nezha's world. He wasn't born a celebrated hero, but rather a cursed child. From birth, everyone judged him as a monster destined to bring destruction. Because of this, he grew up lonely and isolated from outside world. Seeing Nezha always playing alone, trying to attract attention, or even causing trouble just to feel the presence of others was truly heartbreaking. His mischief wasn't because he was evil, but rather a way for him to have a voice amidst the whispers of hatred from everyone else.
Beneath all the chaos, there's another side of Nezha touched me. We see how he yearns for recognition (especially from his father). He also try to suppress his demonic powers, not out of fear, but because he wants to prove to the world and himself that he's more than just a curse. Nezha struggle against destiny feels so real and emotional. We're invited to feel every disappointment and every tiny hope he has.
The message I got after watching this movie is about "Choices". There was one sentence that kept ringing in my head, "People say that fate is predetermined, whether it's a demon or a god, it's your own choice." For me, this isn't just about Nezha fighting the demon within himself, but also about Nezha trying to fight the fate that others forced upon him. He proves that fate is in our hands, not others.
I highly recommend it to those of you who have never watched this movie. Nezha is a brave and spirited film. This movie teaches us that sometimes, even in the darkest solitude, we can find the greatest light to be ourselves.

Who is Nur Satrio ?
Hi, I'm Tio, a lover of stories, whether written on the pages of a book, presented in adventurous games, or engraved in the incredibly beautiful nature of Indonesia. In my free time, I like to immerse myself in fictional worlds, build small worlds by assembling Gundam models, and explore new places that offer fresh air and soothing views.
For me, life is not about how fast we run, but how much beauty we get to enjoy along the way. I believe that every book has a universe, every journey has a story, and every second we spend in nature is a quiet expression of gratitude that calms the heart.
