Hello! During the past week, each of the moderators have been going through each of your submissions in our latest contest on your favourite action movies, reading through them and grading them under numerous criteria. We counted over 50 total submissions over the two weeks, and some of the entries were truly incredible. Sometimes you all really surprise us with how much you can write, and we're always interested in seeing what people like as you display your own personalities through the thoughts you put into your posts!
Choosing such a small number of submissions as our winners is always an incredibly difficult process, but it's one that we take quite a bit of time to do, as we go through each and every post and run them through our usual grading criteria and general checks. Having done so, we've found four of your submissions that we really enjoyed that ultimately came out on top alongside our scoring.

One element that surprised me a lot in this film is the power of the hidden media, those camera moments where we see the woman talking to the radio with a powerful voice, sending messages in code to the masses to organize and direct their resources is a masterpiece on the community media. Yes, in this case, this is used by criminal gangs but is a reflection of how media could work for the benefit of the people instead of blinding them, current mainstream media is focused only on controlling the people's imagination, tampering with reality, and help their private interest. This kind of hidden, local, and self-directed media could change those things, an origin it was how radio stations started, small and simple, no conglomerates, no millionaires behind the messages, and especially, no forgery on information, as she is quick on the outtake to recognize the wrong and apologize to the public and the Warriors with a very soft yet powerful voice that drills into the memory of the viewer.

"H" has all the traits of an antisocial personality but he has an exaggerated self-control, and this is his most striking feature! you will not see him fighting with anyone senselessly, you will not see him wasting time arguing with people who say offensive things to him, "H" responds, yes, he does, but he always avoids the fight, or he responds in the most sarcastic way possible, but with a self-control that leaves you petrified and you say ok! this guy does not have a mental problem, this guy knows very well what he is doing, his psyche is not controlling him and making him do crazy things, no! This guy is completely capable of controlling his mind by himself, he does not have any psychiatric pathology, here what developed is a change of attitude in himself as a consequence of something, that something that made him become what he is, but from the beginning you notice his determination and you notice a goal he wants to achieve, even if you don't know what it is.

I am in favor of action movies having to be, above all, realistic and with a deep story so that they make a space in the hearts of the spectators. There are examples of franchises that have mutated, for example, Fast and Furious, which started as a movie about street racing, family and loyalty, and now they are all secret agents of the American government who have even gone into space in a modified car. However, movies with John Wick, Taken and The Equalizer are totally believable because we are talking about professional killers in Wick's case and ex-military officers with lifelong training who murder people showing off everything they have learned throughout their careers. missions. Murder people with a pencil? Of course it is, it is very possible. With a book? Also, just paste where it is and that's it. These people kill so easily that it seems that they are dancing, enjoying what they do and always hitting the target.

Who is the winner in this story? I think that moral values simply must be imparted so that respect, equity and integration prevail. Human beings are not a subgroup, we are an individual as well as a collective body capable of feeling. The goodness is what should characterize us, but we must also bring out what we have inside us to engage what coexists and not be oppressed by the one who claims to be strong.
Thank you to each and every person that contributed to our action movies contest. We had a lot of fun conducting the contest and seeing so many of you interact with us both here on Hive and over on our Twitter account. We're already starting to plan our next contest, so stay stuned for updates on our socials for more information on when it will take place, and what the subject will be.
