There are certain films that after its release become a kind of stories that transcend, so in many occasions that a sequel of the same is made does not always end well, but there are few sequels that have managed to even overcome its beginnings, for this reason I always love watching movie sequels, you never know how much you can be surprised or disappointed and there is the fun for me, so today dear friends of the community are welcome to a new review and this time I want to talk about the movie called "Puss in Boots: the last wish", let's start with the review.

This movie released on December 21, 2022 is an American production that belongs to the genre of animation, adventure and comedy. As I mentioned at the beginning, this film is a sequel to "Puss in Boots" released in 2011 and in this sequel we follow the adventures of Puss in Boots who has had countless confrontations, where in the last one he discovers that he has already lost 8 of his 9 lives, so he embarks on a dangerous journey to try to recover his lives thanks to a legend of something called "the last wish".
What happens in the movie?
Let's talk a little more in depth about what happens in the movie, the movie begins with a party where all the guests are praising Puss in Boots for his undisputed career and for all the things he has achieved, but while everyone is having fun dancing and singing, the owner of the mansion where the party is taking place appears, who is a governor and orders to capture Puss in Boots because he is a fugitive and there is a reward for him, so here begins a chase and some fighting.

The noise caused by the party and the fight is so loud that it ends up waking up a giant, who approaches the place and ends up causing some havoc, so no one but Puss in Boots can stop him and after some incredible action scenes, as expected, Puss in Boots ends up winning, but when he was about to celebrate, a bell ends up crushing him. Puss in Boots wakes up in the hospital and here he is informed that he has lost 8 of his 9 lives, so if he loses the last one it will be the end of Puss in Boots, but he doesn't care.

While Puss in Boots was in a bar, a wolf appears and seems to be looking for the reward, to which Puss in Boots assures him that he will win, but the wolf seems confident and so in a few minutes ends up disarming Puss in Boots, he enters a state of deep fear realizing that he will lose and this is his last life, so he decides to escape and take refuge in a cat care home and thus forget forever to be Puss in Boots and just live a normal life away from the adventures.
Puss in Boots adapts to his new boring life and befriends a small dog who pretends to be a cat so he can live there, but the conversation between these two is interrupted when Goldilocks and the three bears show up, apparently they were looking for Puss in Boots (and got there by his scent), but they only end up finding Puss in Boots' clothes buried, so they leave him for dead. These were looking for Puss in Boots with a proposal, to find the "last wish", which can allow to wish for anything, so Puss in Boots hears this and decides to go on a dangerous journey to find the "last wish" on his own and thus recover their lives and return to be the legendary Puss in Boots.

My opinion about the movie
The rest of the movie I will not tell for those people who want to see the movie on their own, so I will only talk about my opinion of the movie starting with the story and without a doubt I must say that it is a story that catches you from the beginning, because we are used to see the cat in boots being so heroic and brave that when we see this more fearful side makes us think about what will happen next, plus I personally think that the story is so well constructed with some small stories and connections with the previous movie that make it very enjoyable.
Something that I found wonderful in this movie was the villain, I consider that he really is one of the best villains written in terms of animated movies and this is due to his presence and the terror that he makes you feel every time he appears, even when he is not seen on screen but you only hear a little whistle that alerts his arrival, honestly I found this incredible, he really is one of the best villains that really feel like villains and not just another character that just does some silly things, this really is pure terror in terms of his actions.

The comedy aspect is very good, I must say that I was laughing from beginning to end both with the nonsense and attitudes of the cat in boots, as the ironies other characters that will be added throughout the plot, so it is such an innocent sense of humor that can be enjoyed by anyone who sees the movie, I consider that this was part of what made it become a success in theaters, when you find the perfect formula so that adults and children can watch a movie and connect with it perfectly and enjoy it, no doubt you have a very good product.
Finally to say that the film is not just a story that fulfills its mission to entertain, on the contrary, I feel that there are many internal messages in the film that every time you notice one of them makes you understand many aspects of life and this is something I appreciate in movies, when you can really see that its creators wanted to teach you something and the message of this film in my opinion is one of the most precious ones, so personally I loved the film from beginning to end and not to mention that I found its animation spectacular.

Hay ciertas películas que luego de su estreno se convierten en una especie de historias que trascienden, por lo que en muchas ocasiones el que se realice una secuela de la misma no siempre termina bien, pero hay pocas secuelas que han logrado incluso superar sus inicios, por este motivo siempre me encanta ver secuelas de películas, nunca se sabe qué tanto te puede sorprender o decepcionar y ahí esta lo divertido para mí, por eso el día de hoy queridos amigos de la comunidad sean bienvenidos a una nueva reseña y en esta oportunidad les quiero hablar de la película llamada “Gato con botas: el último deseo”, comencemos con la reseña.

Esta película estrenada el 21 de diciembre del año 2022 es una producción estadounidense que pertenece al género de la animación, aventura y comedia. Como bien mencionaba al principio, esta película es una secuela de “El gato con botas” estrenada en el año 2011 y en esta secuela seguimos las aventuras del gato con botas quien ha tenido incontables enfrentamientos, donde en el último descubre que ya ha perdido 8 de sus 9 vidas, así que emprende un peligroso viaje para intentar recuperar sus vidas gracias a una leyenda de algo llamado “el último deseo”.
¿Qué sucede en la película?
Hablemos un poco más a profundidad de lo que sucede en la película, la misma comienza con una fiesta donde todos los invitados están alabando al gato con botas por su indiscutible trayectoria y por todas las cosas que ha logrado, pero mientras todos se están divirtiendo bailando y cantando, aparece el dueño de la mansión donde se está llevando acabo la fiesta, quien es un gobernador y ordena que capturen al gato con botas porque es un fugitivo y hay una recompensa por él, así que aquí comienza una persecución y algunos combates.

El ruido que se ocasionó tanto con la fiesta y la pelea es tan fuerte que termina despertando a un gigante, quien se acerca al lugar y termina haciendo algunos estragos, por lo que nadie más que el gato con botas puede detenerlo y luego de unas increíbles escenas de acción, como era esperado el gato con botas termina por vencer, pero cuando este estaba a punto de celebrar, una campana termina aplastándolo. El gato con botas despierta en el hospital y aquí le informan que ha perdido 8 de sus 9 vidas, por lo que si pierde la última será el final del gato con botas, pero éste no le toma importancia.

Mientras el gato con botas se encontraba en un bar, aparece un lobo quien parece estarle buscando por la recompensa, a lo que el gato con botas le asegura que le ganará, pero el lobo parece confiado y así en pocos minutos termina por desarmar al gato con botas, éste entra en un estado de miedo profundo al darse cuenta que perderá y esta es su última vida, por lo que decide escapar y refugiarse en una casa de cuidados de gatos y así olvidarse para siempre de ser el gato con botas y sólo vivir una vida normal lejos de las aventuras.
El gato con botas se adapta a su nueva vida aburrida y se hace amigo de un pequeño perro que se hace pasar por un gato para poder vivir allí, pero la conversación entre estos dos es interrumpida cuando Ricitos de oro y los tres osos aparecen, al parecer estaban buscando al gato con botas (y llegaron allí por su aroma), pero sólo terminan encontrando la ropa del gato con botas enterrada, por lo que lo dan por muerto. Estos estaban buscando al gato con botas con una propuesta, encontrar el “último deseo”, lo que puede permitir desear cualquier cosa, así el gato con botas escucha esto y decide emprender un peligroso viaje para encontrar el “último deseo” por su cuenta y así recuperar sus vidas y volver a ser el legendario gato con botas.

My opinion about the movie
El resto de la película no lo contaré para aquellas personas que quieran ver la película por su cuenta, por lo tanto sólo hablaré de mi opinión de la película comenzando por la historia y sin dudas debo decir que es una historia que te atrapa desde el principio, porque estamos acostumbrados a ver al gato con botas siendo tan heroico y valiente que cuando vemos este lado mas miedoso nos hace pensar en qué es lo que sucederá a continuación, además que personalmente me parece que la historia está tan bien construida con algunas pequeñas historias y conexiones con la película anterior que la hacen muy disfrutable.
Algo que me pareció maravilloso en esta película fue el villano, considero que realmente es uno de los mejores villanos escritos en cuanto a las películas animadas y esto se debe a su presencia y el terror que el mismo hace sentir cada vez que aparece, incluso cuando no se le ve en pantalla sino que sólo se escucha un pequeño silbido que alerta su llegada, honestamente esto me pareció increíble, de verdad es uno de los mejores villanos que realmente se sienten como villanos y no como un personaje más que sólo hace algunas cosas tontas, este realmente es terror puro en cuanto a sus acciones.

El aspecto de la comedia es muy bueno, debo decir que me estuve riendo de principio a fin tanto con las tonterías y actitudes del gato con botas, como las ironías otros personajes que se irán sumando a lo largo de la trama, por lo que es un sentido del humor tan inocente que puede ser disfrutado por cualquier persona que vea la película, considero que esto fue parte de lo que hizo que se convirtiera en un éxito de los cines, cuando encuentras la formula perfecta para que adultos y niños puedan ver una película y conectar con ella a la perfección y disfrutarla, sin dudas tienes un producto muy bueno.
Por último decir que la película no es tan solo una historia que cumple con su cometido de entretener, todo lo contrario, siento que hay muchos mensajes internos en la película que cada vez que te percatas de uno de ellos te hace entender muchos aspectos de la vida y esto es algo que aprecio de las películas, cuando realmente se puede observar que sus creadores quisieron enseñarte algo y el mensaje de esta película a mí parecer es uno de los más preciosos que hay, por lo que personalmente me encantó la película de principio a fin y sin mencionar que su animación me pareció espectacular.

Finalizo diciendo que si todavía no han visto la película deberían hacerlo, se están perdiendo de una de las mejores películas estrenadas en el 2022 y pongo la mano en el fuego por la película, así que cuando tengan un tiempo dense ese regalo a ustedes mismos.
