Está serie creada, co dirigida y escrita, pero principalmente protagonizada por Santiago Korovsky, es impresionantemente buena, en realidad es de lo mejor que he visto en Netflix porque es de esas producciones que es difícil de existir en este tiempo actual en el mundo del entrenamiento; esto porque no teme generar una visión cómica sobre el tema de la discapacidad, lo cual a la vez funciona de critica a lo que somos como sociedad por dar mucho valor a los esteriotipos en dónde la más importante es hacerlos sentir como algo menor y justamente esa manera de hacer comedia es muy inteligente y hasta puedo decir que es original porque no se escuda detrás del género.
La primera temporada contó con ocho episodios en dónde se desarrollan muy bien cada uno de los múltiples personajes, se les da el tiempo para enseñar su pasado, por supuesto su presente y lo que añoran en un futuro, eso me pareció excelente porque se pudo enfocar en los personajes principales, pero así se dio un completo sentido a que este era una unidad y así funcionó el relato de toda la primera parte de la historia; ahora para la segunda y lamentablemente última temporada, existe un cambio en dónde los personajes secundarios son justamente eso, pero eso no quiere decir que sean un simple relleno, a lo contrario, ellos siguen siendo importantes para la historia y mejor aún cuando hacen ingresar a nuevos personajes que también cumplen una gran función de ser inolvidables.
This series, created, co-directed, written, and starring Santiago Korovsky, is impressively good. In fact, it's one of the best things I've seen on Netflix because it's one of those productions that is difficult to find in today's world of entertainment. The first season had eight episodes in which each of the multiple characters was developed very well. They were given time to show their past, of course their present, and what they long for in the future. I thought that was excellent because it allowed the focus to be on the main characters, but it also gave a complete sense of unity, and that's how the story worked throughout the first part of the series. Now, for the second and unfortunately final season, there is a change where the secondary characters are just that, but that does not mean they are mere filler. On the contrary, they remain important to the story, and even better when new characters are introduced who also fulfill the important role of being unforgettable.
En los seis episodios que conforman está temporada, funcionan como un complemento de la anterior temporada, es una continuación inmediata, lo cual me pareció excelente así como contar con todo el cast original y mejor aún la inclusión de nuevos personajes y de situaciones que en mi opinión son más cómicas que la anterior, posiblemente el no contar con dos episodios más como ocurrió en la anterior temporada, hizo que todo fuera más directo, tanto en la generación de un nuevo caso, así como en nuevas situaciones cómicas lo cual creo que fluyen de manera natural por como son los personajes que ya no necesitan de una presentación, sino de una confirmación de lo que son para la historia, en eso tanto Korovsky como demás guionistas, realizaron un excelente trabajo y me hizo entender el porqué la decisión de terminar la serie en una segunda temporada.
The six episodes that make up this season serve as a complement to the previous season; it is an immediate continuation, which I thought was excellent, as was having the entire original cast and, even better, the inclusion of new characters and situations that, in my opinion, are funnier than the previous ones. Possibly not having two more episodes, as happened in the previous season, made everything more direct, both in the creation of a new case as well as in new comical situations, which I think flow naturally because the characters no longer need an introduction, but rather a confirmation of who they are for the story. In this regard, both Korovsky and the other screenwriters did an excellent job and made me understand why the decision was made to end the series after a second season.
En la temporada final de División Palermo, se me hizo imposible no ver la influencia de "BARRY", serie de HBO, en dónde justamente el humor negro se une con el drama lo cual genera situaciones que no deberían dar risa, pero al final son muy cómicas, justamente ese tipo de humor está presente en esta producción lo cual la hace impredecible en un principio, pero después es más que predecible al final y esto no es para nada una crítica negativa, lo cual como dije anteriormente, la historia fluye muy bien y cada situación es perfecta porque sigue el tono de lo que es esta producción, así que personalmente no hay nada que falle en esta producción. Recuerdo el momento de la confirmación de una segunda temporada la cual me sorprendió que no tuviera tanta promoción al momento de acercarse el estreno de la segunda y última temporada, pero para quienes vimos la primera parte de esta serie, creo que existe una comunión en que es de las mejores producciones que ha hecho Netflix en Suramérica y ojalá que después de algún descanso decidan seguir relatando así sea una historia más, en formato de película para cerrar algún que otro cabo suelto que quedó de la segunda temporada.
In the final season of División Palermo, it was impossible for me not to see the influence of HBO's BARRY, where dark humor is combined with drama, creating situations that shouldn't be funny but end up being very comical. That same type of humor is present in this production, which makes it unpredictable at first, but then it becomes more than predictable in the end. This is not a negative criticism at all. As I said before, the story flows very well, and each situation is perfect because it follows the tone of the production. So, personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with this production. I remember when the second season was confirmed, I was surprised that there wasn't much promotion as the premiere of the second and final season approached. but for those of us who saw the first part of this series, I think there is a consensus that it is one of the best productions Netflix has made in South America, and hopefully after a break they will decide to continue telling at least one more story, in film format, to tie up any loose ends left over from the second season.
