¡Saludos! Bienvenido a mi primer post con respecto a una película. Ya desde hace un tiempo tenía ganas de hablar sobre unas de las cosas que más me apasionan: El cine y las películas. Así que sin más, hoy les traigo una pequeña reseña sobre una película hermosa que vi hace un par de semanas: "Gato con botas y el último deseo". Durante unos años, estuve al pendiente de esta secuela, ya que había visto la primera parte y la había adorado, la disfrute junto con mis hermanos y era una de nuestras películas favoritas.
El largometraje animado comienza con nuestro querido protagonista, el cómico y caliente Gato con botas, pletórico de confianza y gloria, celebrando su fama junto con algunos fanáticos, los cuales eran pueblerinos, ya que los gobernantes y gente de poder lo detestan y hasta ofrecen recompensas por su cabeza. Resulta que a causa de su fiesta y su conflicto con el alcalde o gobernante de la ciudad, despierta a un gigante, cuyo diseño me gustó bastante. Tras la lucha del gigante, el gato sale victorioso, pero por una jugada del destino, termina muriendo otra vez por una campana.
Greetings! Welcome to my first post regarding a movie. For a while now I've been wanting to talk about one of the things I'm most passionate about: Cinema and movies. So without further ado, today I bring you a little review about a beautiful movie I saw a couple of weeks ago: "Puss in Boots and the Last Wish". For a few years, I was on the lookout for this sequel, since I had seen the first part and had adored it, I enjoyed it together with my brothers and it was one of our favorite movies.
The animated feature begins with our beloved protagonist, the comical and hot Puss in Boots, full of confidence and glory, celebrating his fame along with some fans, which were small-towners, since the rulers and people in power hate him and even offer bounties on his head. It turns out that because of his party and his conflict with the mayor or ruler of the town, he wakes up a giant, whose design I quite liked. After the giant's fight, the cat emerges victorious, but by a twist of fate, he ends up dying again by a bell.
Posteriormente, el médico de la ciudad lo ayuda, y le dice que ya no le quedan vidas. La confianza exagerada del Gato, la cual ya rayaba en arrogancia, hizo que no le diera importancia, así que siguió con su vida de fama y fuga. Lastimosamente, una imagen importante, manifestada en la forma del lodo, la muerte, llega para reclamarlo por su derroche egocéntrico de vidas. Tras su enfrentamiento, el gato siente por primera vez el miedo a la muerte.
La película también gira en torno a la idea de una estrella del deseo que había caído a la tierra, al parecer, los personajes sabían de su existencia como una leyenda. El Gato, después de su traumática pelea con la muerte, decide retirarse al ver que es tan vulnerable como cualquiera. En su retiro en una casa de gatos, conoce a un perrito que tiene una actitud muy positiva y elevada a ante la vida.
Subsequently, the city doctor helps him, and tells him that he has no more lives left. The Cat's exaggerated confidence, which was already bordering on arrogance, made him not give it a thought, so he went on with his life of fame and escape. Unfortunately, an important image, manifested in the form of mud, death, arrives to claim him for his self-centered waste of lives. After their confrontation, the cat feels the fear of death for the first time.
The film also revolves around the idea of a wishing star that had fallen to earth, apparently the characters knew of its existence as a legend. The Cat, after his traumatic fight with death, decides to retire, seeing that he is as vulnerable as anyone else. In his retirement in a cat house, he meets a little dog who has a very positive and elevated attitude towards life.
El protagonista se entera de que la leyenda de la estrella es real cuando Ricitos de oro y los tres osos lo buscan para que los ayude a encontrar el mapa que los guía a la estrella del deseo, así que después, de forma individual, todos se dirigen a buscar el mapa de la estrella, el cual lo tiene un gordo con el pulgar morado, un personaje bastante aberrante y el villano principal de la película.
Para terminar y dar mi opinión con respecto al mensaje tan hermoso de la película, todos van en búsqueda de la estrella persiguiendo al gato y su equipo (Kitty, Gato y perrito) quienes tenían el mapa. Todos luchan en el trayecto por el mapa y, al final, llegan a la estrella, donde gato da su batalla final contra la muerte y aprende el sentido de la humildad y el valor hacia la vida, sacrificando así su deseo de volver a tener sus vidas intactas y aceptando la última que le quedaba. Así la muerte lo perdona y derrotan al villano gordo y desagradable.
The main character learns that the legend of the star is real when Goldilocks and the three bears look for him to help them find the map that guides them to the wishing star, so then, individually, they all go in search of the map of the star, which is held by a fat man with a purple thumb, a rather aberrant character and the main villain of the movie.
To conclude and give my opinion regarding the beautiful message of the movie, they all go in search of the star chasing the cat and his team (Kitty, Cat and puppy) who had the map. They all fight along the way for the map and, in the end, they reach the star, where gato gives his final battle against death and learns the meaning of humility and courage towards life, thus sacrificing his desire to have his life back intact and accepting the last one he had left. Thus death forgives him and the fat and nasty villain is defeated.
La película habla sobre la ambición y como esta nos puede engañar haciéndonos creer que deseamos algo que no va acorde a los regalos que la vida nos ha dado ya, el corazón valora más aquello que ya tenemos que aquello que no tenemos. La arrogancia, la gloria y la exportación del placer son tan solo fundamentos efímeros que nos llevarán a nada verdadero. El medio ambiente es perfecto, y la abundancia y gloria que necesitamos muchas veces está dentro de nosotros o ante nuestros propios ojos.
The film talks about ambition and how it can deceive us into believing that we want something that does not match the gifts that life has already given us, the heart values what we already have more than what we don't have. Arrogance, glory and the export of pleasure are only ephemeral foundations that will lead us to nothing true. The environment is perfect, and the abundance and glory we need is often within us or before our very eyes.
