Ahora bien, teniendo constancia de la historia para el filme, tenemos que plasmarlo en una serie de páginas de una forma particular.

3) FORMATO
Una vez que tengas hecha la escaleta, te será fácil construir el argumento, puedes tener tu historia escrita en una hoja en un documento de Word para tener una adecuada orientación, si esta historia funciona para el guion entonces ya has hecho el 80% del trabajo.
Escribir un Guion no es simplemente detallar escenas o extenderse con los diálogos, realmente es pensar y desarrollar tu historia para formar una base solida.
¿Cómo manejamos el formato básico de una escena?
De la siguiente manera.

Se escribe en mayúscula, y describe si es en interior o exterior, el nombre del decorado, y si es de noche o de día. También podría incluir si es atardecer o amanecer utilizando las siguientes nomenclaturas.
- INT = Interior
- EXT = Exterior
Por ejemplo:
INT. COCINA – NOCHE
EXT. PLAYA – DÍA
EXT. CASA DE CARLOS/TERRAZA – ATARDECER
Si la acción transcurriese en un coche que avanza por la carretera, y queremos mostrar que vemos el interior pero también el exterior, podríamos utilizar la siguiente fórmula.
- EXT-INT. COCHE DE CARLOS – DÍA
Y si por ejemplo dentro de una casa van a aparecer diferentes decorados, podemos usar esta fórmula.
- EXT. CASA DE CARLOS/TERRAZA – ATARDECER
- INT. CASA DE CARLOS/COCINA – NOCHE
- INT. CASA DE CARLOS/DORMITORIO – DÍA
Así utilizamos siempre la misma estructura, y es más fácil de leer.

4) DESCRIPCION TEXTUAL
Las descripciones son las acciones de nuestro personaje o de lo que se piensa mostrar en la gran pantalla: Este espacio se limita a cosas que se pueden ver en pantalla, no se debe incluir pensamientos, sentimientos internos, explicaciones detalladas y básicamente todo lo que no pueda representarse físicamente en pantalla.
La regla de oro es "Si no lo podemos ver, no sirve para el Guion"
Se describe brevemente el decorado y las acciones que van teniendo lugar.
Eso sí, siempre se escribe en presente y en tercera persona.
Esto es muy importante. En un guion las cosas no pueden suceder ni en pasado ni en futuro. Sólo nos dedicamos a describir lo que vemos, y siempre en tiempo presente.
Otra cosa importante es que el estilo debe ser sencillo, sin florituras, y sin muchos recursos literarios.
Esto no quiere decir que escribamos como robots.
Cada guionista desarrolla su propio estilo a la hora de describir las acciones. Algunos son más asépticos, y otros se permiten descripciones mucho más largas. Pero por lo general, se recomienda ser bastante escueto a la hora de describir.

THE ACTION
Descriptions are the actions of our character or what is intended to be shown on the big screen: This space is limited to things that can be seen on screen, do not include thoughts, inner feelings, detailed explanations and basically anything that cannot be physically represented on screen.
The golden rule is “If we can't see it, it's no good for the Script.”
The set and the actions that are taking place are briefly described.
Of course, it is always written in the present tense and in the third person.
This is very important. In a script, things cannot happen in the past or future. We only describe what we see, and always in the present tense.

This does not mean that we write like robots.

Si necesitas que la acción se traslade hacia el pasado, no hay problema. Puedes indicarlo en el encabezado.
- Por ejemplo:
INT. HABITACIÓN INFANTIL – DÍA (FLASHBACK)
Pero la acción siempre se escribe en presente, no lo olvides.
También podríamos, por ejemplo, añadir un título superpuesto que diga “2 años antes” o “2 años después”.
Aunque muchas veces no hace falta poner ningún título para que se entienda que la acción transcurre en el pasado o en el futuro.
Es como si el guionista fuese testigo directo de la película y la estuviese retransmitiendo en tiempo real.
Y es por eso que no tiene sentido usar el pasado o el futuro.
No es una novela. Es una película. Y sólo podemos describir lo que se puede ver y escuchar.
Además, el espectador es más listo de lo que pensamos.

5) DIÁLOGO
Las líneas de dialogo se deben trabajar en función a la escena o a la historia, deben revelar algo importante o crucial para mover la historia hacia adelante. Esta es la parte del Guion que tiene más relevancia en pantalla, hay ser inteligente, tener ingenio y creatividad para que sean interesantes, enfócate en el tema y encarna la piel del personaje.
El dialogo se escribe en una posición centrada, para diferenciarlo de la acción (Que se escribe alineado hacia la izquierda) Primero se indica el nombre del personaje en mayúsculas (tomando como referencia el borde izquierdo de la página, a 10.4 cm).
Y debajo, a continuación, se escribe el diálogo, con un margen izquierdo de 6.8 cm, y un margen derecho de 6.1 cm.
Si un personaje habla, luego describimos una acción, y luego vuelve a hablar el mismo personaje, lo indicaremos poniendo al lado del nombre, entre paréntesis (CONT.) Es decir, que continúa hablando.

Cuando sea un diálogo de alguien que no vemos, pero el personaje en pantalla sí lo escucha, igual que nosotros, indicaremos entre paréntesis (OFF). Por ejemplo, cuando una persona habla desde otra habitación. Es decir, la persona que habla forma parte de la historia.
Sin embargo, si se trata de una voz en off de un narrador ajeno a la historia, indicaremos (V.O.), que viene del inglés Voice Over.
