La traición es algo repetitivo en la trama. Debo describir que la parte principal del film evoca cómo se puede rápidamente cambiar a una persona que desea y quiere tener influencia. Muchas personas creen que el dinero es poder, pero no es de este modo. El dinero te permite actuar sobre el pensamiento y posición de otro. Sin embargo, no te posibilita coaccionar al mundo, a diferencia de la política o burocracia que es capaz de aplastarse. Escribo esto pensando en dos hechos que ocurren y se muestran en diferentes escenas.

El final de “Bogotá: City of the Lost” es como un delicioso bocado de comida italiana. Digo que es italiana porque su sabor trasciende y va más allá de lo que puedes asimilar. Quizás esa personalidad tan cruda y cruel que se muestra en las últimas escenas es la misma que la de Vincenzo. No debes, no puedes dejar de verla y sentir cómo la bala ha sido disparada perforando tu pecho. La sangre se esparce, tú y yo somos las víctimas. Nadie puede escapar.
