The Bennett couple and their three young sons Lucas, Thomas and Simon were one of the many families that suffered from the disaster, and one of the few that managed to overcome it.

Es una película muy emocional, no solo sientes miedo, sino que también te alegras, lloras de tristeza, sufres con los personajes, te enorgulleces de ellos. Es una cinta que te recuerda constantemente que el tsunami ocurrió en la vida real, que no está ahí para entretenerte solamente, que esos nombres no los inventó un guionista y que ese sufrimiento lo padecieron personas como tú que estaban en el lugar equivocado.
I've seen movies based on or dealing with catastrophes, and the detail that makes "The Impossible" superior in my opinion is that it has a hopeful outlook, it's not a film you're going to watch just to suffer and be left in agony. Although there are slightly selfish people, it focuses a lot on those who helped each other and even Tom's character is motivated to help even when his mom is suffering. Already from the beginning choosing a family with no casualties is quite positive because, realistically. In real life human beings become selfish in the face of danger and not everyone survives a tsunami.
He visto películas basadas en o que tratan sobre catástrofes, y el detalle que hace superior a “ Lo Imposible” en mi opinión es que tiene una perspectiva esperanzadora, no es un film que vas a ver solo para sufrir y que te va a dejar en agonía. Aunque hay personas ligeramente egoístas, se centra muchísimo en aquellos que se ayudaron mutuamente e incluso el personaje de Tom es motivado a ayudar aún cuando su mamá está sufriendo. Ya desde un inicio escoger a una familia sin bajas es bastante positivo porque, siendo realistas. En la vida real los seres humanos se vuelven egoístas ante el peligro y no todos sobreviven a un tsunami.
It's a well made movie, the only reason it's not 10/10 for me is because I keep the 10 for movies that are good and that I would watch many times; I don't want to cry many times. My final score is 9/10
