¡Hola a todos! Feliz día. Hoy vengo con una nueva reseña de una producción latinoamericana que está en boca de todos. Se trata de Chespirito: Sin querer queriendo, la historia de Roberto Gómez Bolaños, un actor y escritor de comedia que marcó a muchas generaciones con sus memorables personajes, siendo los más conocidos El Chavo y El Chapulín Colorado. En esta publicación les cuento mi experiencia disfrutando de este Show.
I didn't grow up watching El Chavo. There were many reasons for this. Living in a small town, we only had two television stations for a long time, and they weren't the most popular ones. So, the characters created by Roberto Gómez Bolaños didn't shape my childhood the way they did for many of my friends.
When I went on vacation to other cities, there was a chance I could watch it, but my mom wouldn't let us watch the show. As an adult, I found out that the reason she didn't allow it was because she always felt it was a show that encouraged bullying. I also found out that my family wasn't the only one; there were many mothers who forbade their children from enjoying it.
But since you don't have to be a fan of something to enjoy a good gossip, I wanted to see the biography of the creator of the most famous characters in Latin America. The series produced by HBO is based on the autobiographical book by Roberto Gómez Bolaños, and the creator of the show is Roberto Gómez Fernández, the actor's son. This gives us a closer perspective on the life surrounding the creation of the characters created by the aforementioned artist. Although many of the artists and their families gave their consent to use their real names, there were several who did not because they had problems with the actor in the past. So, there was a change of names in the script.

No crecí viendo El Chavo. Hubo muchas razones. Al vivir en un pueblo, tuvimos por mucho tiempo, solo dos televisoras, y no eran las más populares, así que el contenido de los personajes de Roberto Gómez Bolaños no marcaron mi infancia como si pasó con muchos de mis amigos.Cuando salía de vacaciones a otras ciudades, existía la posibilidad de poder verlo, pero mi mamá no nos dejaba ver la serie. Ya adulta me enteré de que la razón por la que no me lo permitía era porque siempre le pareció que era una serie que incentiva al bullying. También me enteré de que mi familia no era la única, que sí hubo muchas madres que le prohibieron a sus hijos disfrutar de esto.
Pero como no hay que ser un fanático de algo para disfrutar de un buen chisme, me quise ver la biografía del creador de los personajes más conocidos de Latinoamérica. La serie producida por HBO, basada en el libro autobiográfico de Roberto Gómez Bolaños, además de que el creador del show es Roberto Gómez Fernández, hijo del actor. Esto logra darnos da una perspectiva de la vida alrededor de la creación de los personajes creados por el mencionado artista, desde un punto de vista más cercano. Aunque mucho de los artistas y sus familiares dieron el consentimiento de utilizar sus nombres reales, hubo varios que no lo hicieron porque tuvieron problemas en el pasado con el actor, por lo que hubo un cambio de nombres en el guion.
The series achieved what none of the famous sketches ever managed to do, which was to keep me glued to the television. The production of this show is incredible. I loved everything about it. The music, the photography, the plot, the script, and above all, the costumes and makeup, which were very appropriate for the different eras. In terms of editing, they play a lot with flashbacks, alternating between the time when Chespirito was growing as an artist and creating characters, and a very famous trip to Acapulco taken by all the characters. This was the cast's high point and marked the beginning of the debacle.
And what we all went to see, because it is often mentioned, both in rumors and in multiple interviews, was the reason the show collapsed so badly, as well as the cause of Roberto's divorce from his wife and mother of his six children: Florinda Meza. This woman, who was part of the cast and the partner of several important figures within the television station, showed herself to be a social climber. She was obviously very ambitious and wanted to be with the person she considered, in her eyes, the best of all.
Now, until episode 7, I was considering that woman to be the worst. It made me angry to see what she did, how she did it, what she said, and how she treated her castmates. This was perfectly achieved, because if a film production manages to elicit some kind of feeling, it has succeeded too much. However, in episode 8, they take the actor down from that pedestal. Because there is a very popular saying that there are no women who steal husbands; no man leaves with another woman against his will. For there to be an affair, there must be two people involved, and in this case, they showed us that. I think they have been very hard on Mrs. Florinda, when they should have been just as hard on the man.
Every time people found out that I had seen it or was watching it, they always asked me the same question: is it worth it? And my answer is yes. It's very much worth it. It's a production full of artistry and formidable performances. Plus, good gossip is always worth it. I'll share the trailer below in case you're still not convinced. La serie logró lo que no logró nunca hacer alguno de los afamados sketches, que fue mantenerme aferrada frente al televisor. La producción de este show es increíble. Me encantó todo. La musicalización, la fotografía, la trama, el guion, y sobre todo, el vestuario y maquillaje, muy adecuado a las diferentes épocas. En cuanto a la edición, juegan mucho con el flashback, alternando entre la época en la que Chespirito estaba creciendo cono artista y creando personajes, y un muy famoso viaje a Acapulco realizado por todos los personajes, que fue el momento más alto del elenco y que marcó el inicio de la debacle.
Y a lo que todos fuimos, porque es muy mencionado, tanto por rumores, como en múltiples entrevistas, fue que la razón por la que se derrumbó tanto el show, como la causa de divorcio de Roberto con su esposa y madre de sus seis hijos: Florinda Meza. Esta mujer, quien fue parte del elenco, y pareja de varios miembros de figuras importantes dentro de la televisora, se mostró cono toda una escaladora, obviamente era muy ambiciosa y quería estar con quien consideraba, a sus ojos, el mejor de todos.
Ahora, hasta el capítulo 7 estuve considerando que esa mujer era de lo peor. Me daba coraje ver lo que hacía, como lo hacía, lo que decía y como trataba a sus compañeros de elenco. Algo que estuvo perfectamente logrado, porque si una producción cinematográfica, logra sacar algún tipo de sentimiento, lo logró demasiado. Sin embargo, en el capítulo 8, bajan de ese pedestal al actor. Porque por allí hay un dicho muy popular que no hay mujeres roba maridos, ninguno se va con otra en contra de su voluntad. Para que haya un engaño amoroso, debe haber dos, y en este caso, nos lo mostraron. Considero que han sido muy duros con la señora Florinda, cuando también debieron serlo con el señor.
Cada vez que la gente se enteró de que la vi o de que la estaba viendo, siempre me hacían la misma pregunta: ¿vale la pena? Y mi respuesta es sí. Vale muchísimo la pena, es una producción llena de mucho arte y de actuaciones formidables. Además, de que un buen chisme siempre vale la pena.
