I remembered her as a mature woman who looked very young for her age and seeing her now with signs of aging well marked impressed me, as I did not expect it, it may have been a strategy of the same film for the role that she had to develop or actually is that her face looks like that, with a forced beauty, maintained over time based on Botox and facial treatment, on the other hand it was nice to see how well she maintains a body.

Elizabeth tiene un jefe bien desagradable, de modales grotescos y grosero personificado por Dennis Quaid, que casi siempre aparecía comiendo de forma asquerosa este despidió a Elizabeth porque busca carne fresca, una chica joven como reemplazo de Elizabeth, justo después de ser despedida, ella entra en un estado de confusión y tiene un accidente de tránsito despertando en el hospital, allí un enfermero la observa su espalda específicamente la columna y ve que puede ser candidata a un experimento científico dejándole un número sin mayor detalles.
Se trata de un producto que al ser inyectado crea una división celular exacta de tu ADN, es un doble de ti mismo, pero más joven, más hermoso, más saludable, eres tú mismo pero en versión mejorada. Este ser sale de la columna de la persona madre, como si el parto fuera por la espalda y el único inconveniente es que tienen que compartir sus nutrientes y su tiempo, ya que eran una sola persona, es decir una semana vivía una y después le tocaba a la otra. I feel it makes a subtle call to reinforce self-esteem, to know the consequences of our actions.
I watched the whole film in awe and with sadness because it starred Demi Moore, I felt she had lowered the quality of her productions, but then I admired her bravery for embodying this character.
The beauty of the photography, the framing of many scenes, the makeup and the costume and environment elements stood out, it is a film with a vision of the future because many would be willing to sell their soul to keep their body intact in their youth. It fulfills the thriller, sci-fi, black comedy and satire genres. It grossed me out, but it made me think and kept me glued to the screen, between stress and suspense.

Al principio todo marchó de maravilla, pero después vino la lucha entre el Alter Ego y la versión antigua, la madurez y la responsabilidad no son las mismas aunque sean una misma persona, sé que puede sonar confuso, pero al final no hubo ganador. Si una persona no acepta los cambios de su entorno, el paso del tiempo, ni tampoco se acepta como es, está destinada a la autodestrucción.Con escenas bastante gores, donde la sangre, predominaba y la comida grasienta también existía el humor negro y la sátira a una sociedad vacía, que anhela la fama rápida y venera a personas por su físico más que por sus talentos, creo que la sustancia buscó dar un mensaje a esos jóvenes que se manejan con retos y tendencias actuales de la única forma que pudiera llamar su atención, algo asqueroso, desagradable y sucio. Siento que hace un llamado sutil a reforzar la autoestima, a conocer las consecuencias de nuestros actos.
Mire toda la película algo asombrada y con tristeza porque la protagonizó Demi Moore, sentí que había bajado la calidad de sus producciones, pero después admiré su valentía por personificar este personaje.
Destacó la belleza de las fotografías, el encuadre de muchas escenas, el maquillaje y los elementos de vestuario y ambiente, es una película con visión de futuro porque muchos estarían dispuestos a vender hasta su alma por conservar su cuerpo intacto en plena juventud. Cumplen con los géneros thriller, ciencia ficción, comedia negra y sátira. Me dio asco, pero me hizo reflexionar y me mantuvo pegada a la pantalla, entre el estrés y el suspenso.
