¿Cómo están el día de hoy? Yo muy bien, muy feliz de comentarles que mientras hacia algunos pendientes, decidí ponerme como de costumbre alguna serie o película de fondo, y sin que me interesara nada en específico llegue a encontrar esta película la cual me llamo mucho la atención por los actores que tiene y yo ya conozco, y por otros varios detalles emocionantes. Sin más, quiero hablarles de esta producción del 2011 ¨ Tenemos que hablar de Kevin ̈, y obviamente también comentarles un poco de mi opinión.

I am very well, I am very happy to tell you that while I was doing some pending things, I decided to put on as usual some series or movie in the background, and without being interested in anything specific I found this movie which caught my attention because of the actors that it has and I already know, and for several other exciting details. Without further ado, I want to tell you about this production of 2011 ¨ We have to talk about Kevin ̈, and obviously also tell you a little of my opinion.

En esta curiosa película conocemos a una familia bastante peculiar, donde nos comienzan presentando a la madre, Eva, que lucha por comprender las razones detrás del terrible acto cometido por su hijo, Kevin. Esta historia sigue un hilo donde hay muchos saltos, y solo nos llegamos a enterar de las cosas más difíciles y curdas hasta el final. Eva, con dudas iniciales, decide tener un hijo y pronto se da cuenta de que Kevin es un niño diferente, con una personalidad enigmática y posibles trastornos de personalidad desconocidos.
In this curious film we meet a rather peculiar family, where we begin by introducing us to the mother, Eva, who struggles to understand the reasons behind the terrible act committed by her son, Kevin. This story follows a thread where there are many jumps, and we only get to find out the hardest and most difficult things until the end. Eva, with initial doubts, decides to have a child and soon realizes that Kevin is a different child, with an enigmatic personality and possible unknown personality disorders.

La película termina con el acto de Kevin, donde hace una masacre en su colegio y también asesina a su padre y a su hermana, dejando a su madre completamente sola. Luego de esto, es normal que es espectador genere muchas preguntas, como ¿fue Kevin un niño destinado a cometer este acto o simplemente un producto de su entorno? Esta pregunta quedará abierta, invitando al público a reflexionar sobre la complejidad de la naturaleza humana y las difíciles preguntas que plantea la crianza de los hijos.
The film ends with Kevin's act, where he makes a massacre in his school and also murders his father and sister, leaving his mother all alone.After this, it is normal for the viewer to generate many questions, such as was Kevin a child destined to commit this act or simply a product of his environment? This question will be left open, inviting the audience to reflect on the complexity of human nature and the difficult questions raised by parenting.

Como ya comenté, en esta película vemos muchos saltos temporales y cosas por el estilo, por eso es que yo para este post decidí tratar de seguir una misma línea temporal ordenada, ya que me estaba confundiendo bastante y siento que así se pierde muy fácil el hilo de la situación
As I already mentioned, in this movie we see a lot of time jumps and things like that, that's why for this post I decided to try to follow the same orderly timeline, since I was getting quite confused and I feel that this way it's very easy to lose the thread of the situation.
Esta película la decidí ver principalmente con Tilda Swinton y Ezra Miller, que son básicamente los personajes principales y ya yo los he visto en varias películas sorprendentes. Siento que fue una muy buena decisión agarrar a Ezra como Kevin para esta película, ya que este chico tiene una mirada peculiar y un tipo de rostro que puede llegar a dar miedo. Aunque realmente es atractivo, tiene un tipo de rostro bastante llamativo e intimidante, por lo cual, dentro de este papel, como un manipulador, psicópata y mitómano, quedó totalmente ideal
I decided to watch this movie mainly with Tilda Swinton and Ezra Miller, who are basically the main characters and I have already seen them in several amazing movies. I feel it was a very good decision to grab Ezra as Kevin for this movie, as this guy has a peculiar look and a kind of face that can get scary. Although he is really attractive, he has a rather striking and intimidating type of face, so, within this role, as a manipulative, psychopathic and mythomaniac, he was totally ideal.
Algo importante que se tuvo que tomar más en cuenta aún luego de ver la película, es que es muy importante la salud mental y la busca de ayuda a buena hora son esenciales en la vida de cualquiera que lo necesite. Es importante pensar en una pregunta que todos se hicieron: ¿Es culpa de la madre o de Kevin, ya vino él con esos rasgos de psicopatía? Yo creo que perfectamente es una mezcla de los dos, ya que depende de muchos aspectos, pero considero que si se nace con algunos rasgos y cosas en específicas, pero tu niñez o infancia también puede influir mucho en eso. Con eso no quiero culpar a su madre, Eva, ya que ella trató de buscar cierto tipo de apoyo o ayuda, pero su esposo no le creía, gracias a lo manipulador que llegaba a ser Kevin.
Something important that had to be taken into account even more after watching the movie, is that mental health is very important and seeking help at the right time is essential in the life of anyone who needs it. It is important to think about a question that everyone asked: Is it the mother's fault or Kevin's, did he come with these psychopathic traits? I think it is perfectly a mixture of both, since it depends on many aspects, but I consider that if you are born with some traits and things in specific, but your childhood or infancy can also influence a lot in that. With that I don't want to blame his mother, Eva, since she tried to look for some kind of support or help, but her husband didn't believe her, thanks to how manipulative Kevin was.
Esta película a nivel de los planos y los sonidos que se escuchaban de vez en cuando era realmente increíble, ya que al comienzo de la película nos incluyeron unos sonidos que parecían ser sin sentido, pero ya al final nos damos cuenta de que fue el sonido de los aspersores del patio, donde encontraron muerto al padre. Ese tipo de cosas me pareció una muy buena decisión de los guionistas y de los diferentes creadores de la serie, ya que aún después de terminar la serie quedas pensando y razonando ciertos aspectos importantes.
This film at the level of the shots and the sounds that were heard from time to time was really incredible, since at the beginning of the film they included some sounds that seemed to be meaningless, but at the end we realize that it was the sound of the sprinklers in the courtyard, where the father was found dead. That kind of thing seemed to me a very good decision of the screenwriters and the different creators of the series, since even after finishing the series you are left thinking and reasoning certain important aspects.
Para concluir, es muy importante que exista un apoyo profesional, y también un apoyo por parte de la pareja, ya que, según yo todo, se pudo evitar en un buen momento, pero no le tomaron la importancia necesaria. Otro detalle que me gustó muchísimo es que todo el tiempo nos recordaron este color rojo, en diferentes escenas y en diferentes momentos, lo que no nos deja salir de la realidad que carga Eva, al ser la madre de un asesino, la cual cree que todo es su culpa. Para mí, esta película merece un muy buen 8/10, ya que tiene escenas y referencias increíbles, pero sí tiene algunos momentos lentos que llegarían a parecer rellenos. Sin duda es una película interesante de ver.
To conclude, it is very important that there is professional support, and also support from the couple, since, according to me, everything could have been avoided at a good time, but they did not take the necessary importance. Another detail that I really liked is that all the time we were reminded of this red color, in different scenes and at different times, which does not let us out of the reality that Eva carries, being the mother of a murderer, who believes that everything is her fault. For me, this movie deserves a very good 8/10, as it has incredible scenes and references, but it does have some slow moments that would come to seem like fillers. It is certainly an interesting movie to watch.
