Arrancamos esta grandiosa semana de Halloween, con unos de los Slasher más carismáticos y temidos de toda la industria, nuestro querido Freddy Kruger es el encargado de abrir esta semana en donde todos los fanáticos del horror se reúnen, para celebrar la festividad del Halloween, dentro de todo el catálogo de películas en la que nuestro amigo quemado es el protagonista, me decante por la original de 1984, en donde nuestro villano hace su estreno en la gran pantalla, hablare de mis impresiones y opiniones con respecto a este film, espero que les gusten póngase cómodo y espero que disfruten esta reseña.
En una década en donde el género de Slasher de terror, estaba en su máximo esplendor y hasta en cierto punto saturado por tantos estrenos de la misma índole, en ese momento llega A Nightmare on Elm Street “Pesadilla En La Calle Elm”, de la mano de una de las mentes maestra que revoluciono el género Wes Craven, quien creo una de esas historias del horror que aun hoy por hoy se puede disfrutar como el primer día., acompañado de un elenco muy joven protagonizado por Heather Langenkamp, John Saxon, Ronee Blakley, Robert Englund como el carismático Freddy Krueger, y para mi agradable sorpresa el debut en el cine de un jovencísimo Jhony Deep.

Comencemos dándole una breve sinopsis a su historia, la trama se basa durante los primeros 20 minutos en Tina, la cual al iniciar la película vemos que está en una pesadilla, en esta se ve aterrorizada por un sujeto de aspecto siniestro el cual tenía una especies de guantes con cuchillas, un suéter rojo con rayas verdes sucio y un sombrero, características descrita por sus protagonista a lo largo de toda la cinta, al terminar ese amargo sueño y despertar al día siguiente se entera que sus amigos han tenido un sueño similar el cual son perseguidos por este sujeto, su mejor amiga Nancy y su Novio Glen, deciden para olvidar un poco el mal rato, realizar una fiesta en su casa, a escondida de sus padres, lo que no sabían que esa noche cambiaria todo en la vida de nuestro protagonista y especialmente para tina, dando inicio a todo los sucesos de la trama principal.

Para comenzar soy de las poquísimas personas que nunca ha tenido contacto con Freddy Kruger y su saga cinematográfica, pero si a lo largo de mi infancia y mi vida su figura la he tenido más que localizada, ya que no es un secreto para todos que Freddy significo para muchos el encargado de las peores pesadillas de más de uno de nosotros, el solo hecho de que una figura maligna gobernara el mundo de los sueños, y solo desde allí tiene el poder asesinarte de las maneras más mórbida y retorcida que he visto en mi vida, sin duda es una genialidad para el mundo del terror mire donde se mire; esto le genera una especie de misticismo entorno a su figura, quizás en esta película tiene un aire de misterio entorno a su real apariencia ya que a lo largo del film realzan mucho la descripción de cómo es y como este impregna el miedo a todas sus víctimas.

Viendo la película desde la perspectiva de un joven quien vería esta película en la sala de cines de los años 80s, sin duda me asombre de dos de sus escenas, la primera de ellas es la secuencia del asesinato de Tina, en la cual durante 10 minutos me tubo en tensión, desde Freddy persiguiéndola, cortándose los dedos para demostrarle miedo a Tina, hasta el desenlace final que me dejo boquiabierto y muy satisfecho por lo bien hecha que estuvo, y por último el plano en la bañera con Nancy la cual para muchos es de las mejores escenas del género del terror; Pero no todo a mi gusto fue perfecto, hubo momentos durante el film en donde la película me saco del clima tenso, justamente al final de película en donde Nancy decide atrapar a nuestro villano, ocurrió una escena que rayo en la comedia y hasta me reí en cierto punto, ver como Freddy caía en esas trampas tan tontas y caricaturesca, sin duda me sacaron mucho de onda a todo lo que se estaba viendo, pero vamos es el aire de parodia que podían existir en estos tipos de film.

Sin duda podemos hablar horas y horas, de cómo esta película como otras de las candidatas revolucionaron el género y marcaron un antes y después en la industria, si bien Pesadilla en la calle Elm para mi gusto tienes muchos errores que te sacan del clima de la película, sigue siendo super disfrutable hasta hoy en día, hasta me hizo reflexionar de como el cine de asesinos se ha ido perdiendo a lo largo de los años, debido a su explotación en su época dorada, pero sin duda en el recuerdo quedara esta película, como de las mejores en el género y una de las que le dio un bum a la historia del cine, por mi parte ha sido todo espero que les haya gustado, me despido por hoy hasta otro rato con esta semana de Halloween.
