A challenge for those who like and appreciate the Seventh Art or, just want some cinematic recommendation. Let's do this!
What this is about? It's a movie challenge (Music A to Z Challenge) created by @serialfiller that obeys the alphabetical order where each participant has to remember two movies with the letter of the day (today the letter is A) of any country.
Don't forget about this: A brief comment on the chosen movies is also necessary.
Here are my choices:
A great and exciting adventure (well produced and with good special effects) in the middle of an icy - and beautiful- landscape is the focus of this nive movie. A young man seeking acceptance within your tribe joins a she-wolf for and faces real and dangerous challenges to return to his family.
The movie is set in a very old period (many centuries ago) and the script manages to "transport" viewers on an immersive journey where courage and friendship are some of the most highlighted values. It is the perfect type of movie to watch with your family and get emotional (and maybe cry a little bit).
Nothing better than starting this day challenge with a true Science Fiction classic, right? So, this movie could not be left out. Directed by Ridley Scott and starring Sigourney Weaver, the story follows the struggle of a team in the midst of hostile territory (the boundaries of space) against a deadly and unknown creature.
Within the Sci-Fi genre, this is - without any doubt - one of my favorite movies and the ones I never get tired of watching. It is incredible, it is well done, it is unforgettable and it is timeless (in all its forms). A true milestone of the movie industry that will never - at least not for those who really like great movies - be forgotten.
