The carrot:
This is a vegetable that accompanies much at the table. It's a carrier of many vitamins and nutrients.
La zanahoria:
Este es un vegetal que acompaña a muchos en la mesa. Es portador de muchas vitaminas y nutrientes.
It always enters my menu. Whether in salads, raw or cooked. In meat, chicken or pig stews. Also in soups, steamed or baked, roasted, etc ... Grated or sliced, whole or to garnish in its smallest presentation, or to make pickles. It is useful in a wide variety of forms and presentations.
In the purées, in the juices alone or combined. In cakes, breads, cookies, etc...
But there is a utility that I love and that is to sow them. I start with cutting off their tops, about two cm, and wait for their little buds to come out.
I put it in the fridge while I wait. Once it gets a few cm in size, I remove it from the fridge and plant it.
A mi menú siempre entra. Ya sea en las ensaladas, crudas o cocidas. En los guisados de carne, pollo o cochino. También en las sopas, cocidos a vapor o al horno, asados, etc... Rallado o rebanado, entero o para adornar en su presentación más pequeña, o para hacer los encurtidos. Es útil en una gran variedad de formas y presentaciones.
En los puré, en los jugos solos o combinados. En las tortas, panes, galletas,etc...
Pero hay una utilidad que me encanta y es sembrarlos, a partir de cortar su parte superior. Unos dos cm, y esperar a que salgan sus pequeños brotes.
Lo coloco en la nevera, mientras espero. Al tener unos cm de tamaño, lo retiro de la nevera y procedo a sembrar.

What is it about?
It's a weekly contest, starts on Friday and ends on Thursday afternoon. To start again on Friday.

This contest deals with themes related to nature. For example, asking what do you do with a cacti or a succulent? you can develop any theme that your mind can reach... your creativity is the limit.

Es un concurso semanal, comienza el viernes y termina el jueves por la tarde. Para comenzar de nuevo el viernes.
Termina a las 6pm hora Caracas-Venezuela (GMT-4).
Daré el tema, y tienes 6 días para desarrollar tu publicación. Después de las 6pm, no aceptaré más entradas y el ganador se publicará junto con el nuevo tema de la semana.
Este concurso trata temas relacionados con la naturaleza. Por ejemplo, preguntando qué haces con un cactus o una suculenta? puedes desarrollar cualquier tema que a tu mente pueda llegar... tu creatividad es el límite.
