Good day to you all here in the LeoFinance community.
Talking about leofinance in general. I am always so happy and grateful to be among those who witnessed the recent update and the web3.0 UI. It was really fun and amazing. Though it wasn’t so at the beginning of it all, subsequently it started to make a lot of sense and the progress is what gave that encouragement and energy.
I can say I am a witness to many of the updates that were added to the leofinance interface. And that I am also a witness of the past UI with the leofinance community. I have posted on both interfaces and with that, I can stand a chance to tell more about the differences between both of them.
The difference is clear. But someone who hasn't witnessed the former cant has a lot to tell about the recent update.
What are the most important updates among the 14 of them?
A lot has changed in the meantime, and the pace of progress is just quite amazing. Reading through the update post and having to learn a lot from the recent UI I would have said all the updates made are important to the interface. Because at some point in time, they all got their uses and that’s something undeniable.
Some of the most important updates if I am to rank them with my experience on the platform are
Threads, comments, and article module update.
The reason for this becoming the top-ranked is the fact that it changed the whole interface. And that's what made it even more important. I remember the day I wanted to make a post using the old interface as usual before the recent update. I saw the big change and got confused. I thought I may have been wrong somewhere. Maybe I typed the wrong link or something related. I put it on my laptop to confirm again and it was the same.
I was unable to make any posts that day not until I realized that it was the new web3 update that got the threads, comments, and articles in one UI. It did surprise me a lot but it was fun navigating through
Performance Improvements
Why performance improvements? There is no way you can ever enjoy a platform with poor performance. When you encounter errors in everything you do then I am sure you will be left with no option but to forget about it.
The pace at which the performance improved made it easier for all other updates too. I loved it. My first experience was a little discouraging without the performance update. But immediately after the update, it was a boom 💥.
Edit, light edit, and delete.
Another important aspect here is the edit option and I can remember vividly when the update came. We are all bound to make mistakes, no matter how careful we try to be, it still happens once in a while. So that was where the edit option became even more important. I could feel the ease of people's responses after the update was made.
Why do you think they are the most important ones?
As I have said earlier that all of these updates are so important to the interface and cannot be left out. But talking about some important ones like the performance improvements and the Gifs we can all see that most everyone can get to survive even if the platform doesn’t include the Gifs section into the interface.
Gifs are important but not so important as compared to having a smooth and nice time on the platform. That's more of a reason why all these are more important and are part of the key updates on the community.
How many more updates are needed to fix the current problems that you encounter in UI?
Presently, the community has had a good experience and met a lot of demand, suggestions, and complaints, especially during the campaign. What I would like to see working out on the UI are the aspects of general performance.
What other additions (such as gifs, emojis, etc.) should be made for a better UI?
I think the community should work more on the performance updates and the backend too. There are still times we get to encounter little bugs. Recently I wasn’t able to login into my account. The login option grayed out. So these should be more of an update from the performance interface.
In addition to that, I don't know how much the HTML works or maybe there are some kind of restrictions to that. Whenever I use some html codes on the interface it's always not working out fine. There are times when I use the phisy red text color on the UI but it won't reflect and also the alignment too. I probably would suggest a little more update here too as it would give users a greater experience.
Lastly, I would like to talk about the threads too. Most times when I create a thread storm, my comments disappear and they are always nowhere to be found after publishing. Hopefully, some update could be done on this aspect too.
Conclusion
In all, I am grateful and appreciate the leofinance community for a good job done. It's not something so easy. But I would say it's been a great time using the new UI and the experience was so amazing. I can say that my experience so far with the interface has been one of the best since I onboarded the hive blockchain and I still look forward to many better updates and UI experiences with the community.
