Bitcoin is back above $20,000 after a few good weeks now, and some crypto heads out there will flood your tweeter feed in the near future with the I told you so type of content. It's still $20k though, it's not like we've come close to ATH yet. I don't know if we will see it under $20k ever after this bounce and I don't care.
I do believe though that it will take some time until we will see BTC at over $20k. It's long time since I haven't had a fun post on Leofinance so why not do it today, now that BTC is... where it is. So, let's imagine for a few minutes that we have 1,000 BTC in a wallet. Some of us might really have that, I don't know.
But for the rest of us, plebs that don't have that much of it, let's imagine that we're gifted(mistakenly sent :)) 1,000 BTC. What would you do with it? Well, first of all, I wouldn't turn it back, so let's dive into my dreamland of owning 1,000 Bitcoin, shall we.
First things first I'd definitely HODL 100 of em, would put that on a ledger and store it somewhere safe. Next, I will definitely buy 1 million HIVE and power up every damn of it just to see how it feels to have 1 million HP and spread the love around with that much HP. That's about 107 BTC worth of HIVE at the current prices...
93 of em, which is close to 2 million dollars would go into HBD and that HBD will be put into savings so I can have some stablecoins generated as interest on a monthly basis. You gotta have money make you more money and banks are not an option for me.
Now that everything's settled with being a HODLer and fulfilling my Hive fantasies, I'll spend something around 100 BTC on buying myself a beautiful house near the water, would definitely buy myself a couple of cars and some other gizmos. You gotta enterating yourself, right?
I love my family and I wanna see em wealthy too. I don't know and I don't care if they'll handle properly that much cash, but I would for sure give them something like 50 BTC as a gift. I would conditionate my sister with one thing on this gift, but other than that I wouldn't give a damn about what would they spend them on.
I have become an EGLD fanatic for a while, so I would definitely exchange 100 BTC for EGLD and stake it all. That's more passive income compounding my wealth and I would also become a node validator having that much EGLD. As a matter of fact, I could validate quite a bunch of nodes with the amount of EGLD I could buy by exchanging 100 BTC for it.
Next...
I'd spend 50 BTC to feed the poor. I would do that eyes closed. I hate poverty and I believe that one cure for it is for the wealthy to help the poor. So yeah, 50 BTC goes into feeding the poor. Another 50 would go into building one or more orphanages. Coming into this world and being rejected by your parents is something unbearable for my imagination.
Hence, I'd sure love to be able to put a hand at changing that for the better. I love dogs too, so I would put some money into dog shelters and take care of stray dogs as well. Romania has plenty of them and that's also a must-fix for a future BTC millionaire like myself ;).
Aaannnddd...
Now it's time you shill me your favorite meme and shitcoins cuz I'd sure spend something like 100 BTC on such shit. Life's a joke, a good one, and spending money on memes could be a way of blasting it in crypto if you play your game right. I don't think we're anything near an era where shitcoins go extinct. Mankind is not that smart for that.
Last but not least, I would definitely throw 200 BTC into buying real estate and farmland... Both are underrated in a potential future totalitarian state. Growing your own food and having the land for building up a small community is something I would focus both funds and time/energy on. So, that's what I'd do if I had 1,000 BTC, but what about you?
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
