I want to exchange my hard earned Hive-money (which I got by writing blogs and doing some clever investments) into physical stuff, for example real beer.

I am already on Bitpanda and I use it there also to buy beer via their visa card, but they don't have $HIVE in their portfolio, so it is a detour.

The Binance Card

To make the way smaller, I have activated my Binance Card. (Here is my referal link):

At the moment it is just virtual, but it already works with google pay.
And now I want to put $HIVE on it.

Binance Wallets

For this I had to learn, that I own two wallets in Binance, a Fiat and Spot wallet, and a Funding Wallet:

On Fiat and Spot, I can receive my Hive and trade and withdraw it to other bankig account (like Bitpanda).
The Funding wallet is the wallet for the Binance VISA card.

To send $HIVE from your Hive Wallet, we first need the recipients adress. For this we click in "Fiat and Spot" in the Hive row on "Deposit". We get the adress and memo then:

Now, go to your Hive-Wallet and withdraw your $HIVE to this adress:

You should be sure to put in both correct: The recipients adress and the memo, otherwise your money is gone! If you do it the first time, take a small amount to test the way.
The transaction can take a few minutes (but usually only a few seconds).

On the Funding wallet there are only a very few Fiat and cryptos available. One can see the list, by clicking on Finance/Binance Card/Edit:

(You can also see, that I successfully payed 10,99 EUR with the virtuall VISA card for a small game, which I play in the google-universe.)

So, how do I get my Hive into this wallet?
-> I have to exchange and then to transfer it.
Here I convert $HIVE into $AVAX. I do it in the Fiat and Spot component:

Now I have $AVAX and can transfer it to to the funding (VISA) wallet:

To activate $AVAX (or another token) to be used for paying my bills, I click Finance/Binance card again and bring the cryptos into that order, i prefer. In my case it would mean, that I can buy stuff for an amount of 58 +122+25 = 205 € (which is a lot of beer ;-)).
Be aware, that you should use cryptocurrencies, that you already hold for longer than one year, because of the tax.

Now the VISA card is loaded and I can go shopping ;-)
(In my case only online, as I am waiting for the physical card to come in the next days)
