Land is a fixed asset that cannot depreciate in value or price, land price appreciate makes it the best asset to keep for the future and you can even leave it to your heirs. The more the economy grows, the more the price of land changes, and this gives a good return over time. Imagine your father bought a piece of land 30 years ago for $20, you inherit that piece of land and sell it in 2023.
There is another reason to consider land assets, it is not associated with risk. You don't have to keep an eye on it like we keep our eyes on the crypto market just because we want to sell high and not take a profit if the value goes down. Land increase in price.
Recently I had a conversation with one of my online friends discussing how crypto will change the world, but I was a little surprised that he called crypto "the damn fake money", he explained how his friend lost $200,000 on crypto investments because he forgot the password. He then considers gold or land assets as his best investments. Well, I can't say it wrong, because investing in crypto is somehow risky and sometimes worth it, depending on your opinion.
Crypto assets to land assets are completely different, to me I think there is no risky association with holding land as an asset, but there is a lot of risk associated with holding crypto as an asset for the future.
