In autumn Germany, I miss sunny Croatia where I was for the Hive Fest two weeks ago and already wonder where it will be next year ... I know it's too early. Then I started thinking about my savings plan for the next Hive Fest and more in general for my life on Hive.
Motivation
This year, I could pay my Hive Fest Regular ticket, which cost €275 (just under $300), using HBD 🥳
Aside from trading, this was the second most expensive purchase I’ve made with cryptocurrency. The most expensive one was a pari of STEPN sneaker. I felt incredibly happy that I could save up HBD for the ticket and purchase it without needing to exchange it for another currency. The financial support and upvotes I received while saving made the experience even more rewarding.
With this in mind, I’ve started thinking more about my savings plan concretely.
About HBD
Although next year’s Hive Fest location hasn’t been out yet, I’ve set a goal to save 300 HBD for the ticket and put it into a savings account. Right now, I have 127 HBD, and it seems achievable to save for a regular ticket by the time the venue is announced in next spring. (I’ve set aside 5 HBD in case I want to quickly send some support to someone who might need a little boost.)
As I save for the ticket, I’ll take my time deciding whether to continue saving up to around $500-1000 in HBD or stick with my usual plan of converting it into Bitcoin.
About Hive
Hive Fest, which took place two weeks ago, was such a great experience. It made me want to grow my account power a bit more so I can better support people posting quality content and contribute to the platform. So, I’ll continue my current strategy of leaving my Hive power untouched and letting it accumulate.

A year ago, I had around 1300 HP, and now I’ve grown to around 3700 HP—a gain of 2400 HP. My next realistic goal is to hit 4000 HP by the end of this year, and one day, I hope to reach 10K HP 😊
How I Plan to Save
Alongside writing, I started also focusing on curation. While writing rewards have remained fairly stable, my curation rewards have gradually increased compared to a year ago. Plus, after seeing people face-to-face at the Hive Fest, I’ve been reading and manually upvoting more content from various authors, which has made the whole experience more engaging.
My Reputation Score Has Increased
Though this isn't directly related to saving, I was thrilled to see my reputation score reach 73 after receiving upvotes on my Hive Fest reports. While it might be challenging to reach 74 by the end of 2024, I’m aiming for 75 sometime in 2025.

今年はHive FestのRegularチケットの代金275ユーロ（300ドル弱）をHBDで払いました。
トレードを除くと、Hive Festのチケットは、STEPNの600ドルほどのスニーカーについで高い暗号資産での買い物でした。チケットを買うためのHBD貯金を応援していただけたこと、普段使っているプラットフォームの暗号通貨HBDを貯めて、他の通貨に両替することなくチケットを買えたのがとてもうれしかったです。
そんなうれしさから貯蓄計画を考え始めました。
HBDについて
まだ来年の開催地は決まっていないものの、まずはチケット代の300HBDを貯めて貯蓄口座に入れておこうと思っています。現在127HBDで、春の開催地発表までにはチケット代は貯まっているはず。（5HBDだけ出してあるのは、誰かを応援したいな、元気づけたいなという時にすぐに送金するためです。）
チケット代を貯めながら、500ドルくらいまでHBDを貯めるか、これまで通りビットコインにするかゆっくり考えようと思います。
Hiveについて
二週間前のHive Festがとてもよかったので、できればもうちょっと自分のアカウントにパワーを持たせて、いいコンテンツを作っている人を応援したり、プラットフォームのために何かできたりしたらいいなと思いました。ということでHiveについては、「しばらくパワーダウンはせず、たまるがままにしておく」という方針を継続しようと思います。
PeakDでは貯蓄の様子が見られてテンションが上がります。1年前には1300HPほどだったところ、現在約3700HPで2400HP増えたことになります。年内に4000HPに到達するのが直近の現実的な目標です。いつか10K HPになったらいいな 😊
どうやって貯めよう
書くのと合わせて、キュレーションもきちんとしようと思っています。書き手の報酬は横ばいですが、キュレーション報酬は一年前と比べてじんわり増えつつあります。あと、Hive Festで書いている人たちの顔が見えるようになり、以前よりいろいろな人の記事を読んでupvoteするようになったのもあります。
レピュテーションスコアが上がりました
貯蓄ではないのですが、Hive Festのレポートにたくさんupvoteをいただいて、レピュテーションスコアが73になりました。うれしいです。2024年内74はなかなか難しいかもしれませんが、2025年中に75を目指したいです。
