Hello Crypto-world!
This is my second week with a planned posting every day in addition to my daily Actifit Report.
I was planning to post about BTC, but as we are inside Hive ecosystem I decided to touch first HIVE.
Strategies for Investing in HIVE
As most of us inside this Ecosystem know HIVE is the base-coin for all transaction at your Hive-Blog. HIVE is also the coin Reward, and everyone has the choice to change the percentage when they post. By default the reward is divided 50% HIVE and 50% HBD (Hive Dollar--The Stable coin inside the Ecosystem).
Personally, in these low levels value, I would prefer to change the percentage to 100% HIVE as Rewards.
Some Strategies for Investing in HIVE
I will express some ideas on how you can find different ways to approach your HIVE investment.
- Dollar Cost Average
The infamous DCA (Dollar Cost Average) is one of the adavisable approaches from Financial experts as this Strategie doesn't requiere much effort but a discipline to follow a periodic decision to add your coin, in this case HIVE.
For example, if your paycheck is every first of the month, you could take a fix amount to convert to HIVE. and add more HIVE every month.
For example, taking last three months, on November 1, 2024 you could take a price around 0.18 USD-Cents. 100 USD would give you 555 HIVE on November 1, 2024. consider additional commissions depending the exchange you are using to convert your Fiat to HIVE, that could give you an additional of +5~10% cost.
On December 1, 2024 you could get a price of 0.31 USD, which would give you 322 HIVE.
On January 1, 2025 you could get a price around 0.38 USD, which would give you 263 HIVE.
At that moment you could have 555+322+263= 1140 HIVE (INVESTING 300 USD + commissions). The average cost would be around 0.26 USD.
This way, your cost is reduced through the time. The expectation should be at long period of time, at least some 4~5 years.
- Diversification.
Consider spreading your investments across different HIVE-based projects to mitigate risk. There some interesting projects inside Hive ecosystem where you could put some additional amount. Personally i consider after HIVE LEO the coin of the InLeo Frondend. Some other coins with potential, more for their approach than for the actual price, are SPT, STEM and HBD- just mentioned before. In this Post I have mentioned those coins: [Altcoins inside Hive-Ecosystem...].

Note that HBD--the Stable coin of the ecosystem can give you a 15% Rewards Yearly when you put in Savings. It requires 3 days to be available if you requires to cash out it.
- Staking.
Explore opportunities to stake HIVE to earn passive income while supporting the network.
One of the most basic staking HIVE ways is in your wallet to get Hive Power to your account.
In your wallet your will see is as Power Up.
Once you has your HIVE staked (Power Up) it get you an APR of 2.75% it can increase according to your engagement in the ecosystem.
After you have your HIVE staked you have the choice to Delegate some HIVE. It depends who you delegate it will give you some passive income.
Another way to get rewards it given Liquidity (Liquidity-Pools) which will be always by pair of coins: HIVE-SPS, HIVE -LEO, etc.
Do your own research as each LP has particular risk.
- Long Term Holding
Consider holding HIVE for the long term, especially during market fluctuations.
And engage the most you can inside the ecosystem (Posting, voting doing comments Reblogging, etc), we could think as kind of Sharing Strategy.
Learn while earn.
Never hesitate to make questions, there are always someone happy to help and give you information about your concerns.
Be Patient.
Finally, a core aspect on any investment, be patient. Weather you think about the value, your upvotes, the answer/comments, it will take years to see some significant changes. The key is perseverance in my opinion.
That's all for this post!
Don't hesitate to make a comment/question.
