My Beginning with Leo
It was 1st Jan 2020 when I posted my first ever post with the leo community and at that time it was called steem Leo. What happened in the past is gone and it was rebranded as a leofinance. I remember the date of my first post because it was the new year 2020. I also shared the post on Twitter and it took some time for me to find the tweet. Now post link is not working but glad that tweet is there and its good to remember how leo was at that time. So now I have completed 2 years and 9 months approximately with the LeoFinance community.
I am an active user here and I love the experiences. I bought leo tokens for the first time when there was a hack with WLEO and almost everyone was selling the tokens. I was keeping a close eye on the price and that was the time when I got the opportunity to buy. I did buy almost 2k leo tokens and it was a great decision that I took at the right time. Price was grown again but I did not sell anything because I have a long-term goal with leo. I trust the team and this is why I bought when the majority of people were selling. Its one of the communities where I learn and this learning is helping me to make my investment decisions better and I will continue to be here.
How was Leo Then
Leo started with a basic user interface. It was simply not so fast and even most of the options were the same as other tribes. Leo was the only platform that was providing the option to add beneficiaries at that time. It is a useful feature if we want to share the post but this was not available with popular front ends.
Below is the old page snapshot and as we can see that its a basic view. We could access my feed, blog, wallet, and also some popular tags on the left side.
What is Leo Now?
Now Leo is a grown ecosystem where we have many things. They have worked hard to bring a lot of features and services to the at leofinance. Its not just about the hive instead they are building tools that give more control to our hive account. Things have grown and now we have the below mentioned in the leofinance ecosystem.

We have a bunch of dapps or tools available in the leofinance ecosystem. They keep on upgrading and adding more services so that the community gets the best experience. Every time they come up with something that surprises the community and its always great. We have been waiting for ProjectBank and this is still suspense however we have got other kinds of stuff like cubdefi, polycub, and threads, etc.
They also run various initiatives that help the community and platform to grow. Some of this we can easily notice by visiting leofinance website and these are-

Leofinance is not just limited to a blogging platform instead its much more and now we have so many dapps available for us. There is a lot for us to explore and experince something that is not available elsewhere. Its just the beginning because there is a lot to come and their roadmap is for the long term. This is one of the projects that we can rely on and it keeps on growing and on the right path.
What I would love to see in Leofinance?
I have to mention and appreciate that the leo team works hard and they give value to the feedback. They are the ones who made hivestats amazing and now they are working to provide an awesome experience in threads.
Below are some of the stuff that I would love to see at leofinance-
- More features and enhancements to communities.
- Mobile app for Threads because it can provide a great experince of microblogging.
- DeFi expansion in other chains where the transaction cost is not high as they have done on the polygon.
- Wallet enhancement in Leofinance mobile app.
- Some additional rewards for leofinance mobile app users. This can be some points or something but I am not sure if this is feasible but if can be done then it would be great.
Talking about the leofinance is always fun and something that I love to do. Its a nice initiative by @leogrowth where we can share everything about leofinance that we have gone through and even what we expect. I believe this is a good opportunity to share ideas and if its feasible then the team will surely consider working on it.
