Me gané una Trezor Hardware Wallet en el stand de BTC Techno en CBW
I won a Hardware Wallet, what a nice surprise. The first day of the Caracas Blockchain Week conferences I participated in the activities to compete for this prize.
It was all about posting on Instagram a picture visiting the booth of BTC Techno the new company of Aníbal Garrido, from Aníbal Cripto, my main blockchain technology teacher.
To support his new venture BTC TechnoI went over to the booth and I remember we were joking there my husband, my aunt and I, because I said I was going to give a Trezor as a Christmas gift to my husband, I specifically said that would be his baby Jesus gift and my aunt and he said we were going to win it.
The drawing would be the next day at 2pm. That day and at that time I was working at the Hive booth and for that shift it was my turn to help opening accounts.
Me gané una Hardware Wallet, que buena sorpresa. El primer día de las conferencias de Caracas Blockchain Week yo participé en las actividades para concursar por este premio.
Todo se trataba de publicar en Instagram una foto visitando el stand de- BTC Techno la nueva empresa de Aníbal Garrido, de Aníbal Cripto, mi principal maestro de tecnología blockchain.
Para apoyar su nuevo emprendimiento BTC Techno yo me acerqué al stand y recuerdo que estábamos bromeando allí mi esposo, mi tía y yo, porque yo dije que le iba a regalar una Trezor de obsequio de navidad a mi esposo, específicamente dije que ese sería su regalo de niño Jesús y mi tía y el dijeron que nos la íbamos a ganar.
El sorteo sería al día siguiente, a las 2 de la tarde. Ese día y a esa hora yo estaba trabajando en el stand de Hive y para ese turno me tocó apoyar abriendo cuentas.
I was just helping a lady to open her Hive account and I noticed that there were many people around the front booth, honestly at that moment as I was concentrating on the lady's account I didn't remember that the draw would probably be taking place.
Suddenly my aunt @ynaamelia came over to call me to go to the other booth, but I very seriously and responsibly told her that I was opening accounts.
She left but she insisted again very soon and just when I was saying again that I could not leave the Hive booth Oscar also intervened to tell me that I had won.
I said: I won? What did I win? - The draw for a Trezor! Oscar told me and I apologized, I said I was coming, and I jumped to the front booth and I still found Anibal in shock telling me: Amelia there were 180 people this is incredible.
Justamente estaba ayudando a una señora a abrir su cuenta en Hive y noté que había muchas personas alrededor del stand del frente, sinceramente en ese momento como estaba concentrada con la cuenta de la señora no recordé que probablemente se estaría realizando el sorteo.
De pronto mi tía @ynaamelia se acercó a llamarme para que me acercara al otro stand, pero yo muy seria y responsable le dije que estaba abriendo cuentas.
Ella se fue pero volvió a insistir muy pronto y justo cuando estaba diciendo nuevamente que no podía dejar el stand de Hive Oscar también intervino para decirme que había ganado.
Yo dije: gané? Que gané? - el sorteo de una Trezor! Me dijo Oscar y pedí disculpas, dije ya vengo, y salte hasta el stand del frente y todavía encontré a Aníbal en shock que me decía: Amelia eran 180 personas esto es increíble.
Oscar and my aunt Yna were so happy and smiling and they were taking many pictures of me receiving my prize. And I was telling them yes we won, yesterday we said we would win.
And really, what I won was a lot, because for me, the Bitcoiner maxim that leads us to protect our keys with the utmost privacy and security is vital.
I haven't unboxed it yet, so the unboxing is coming, that day we will know if the Trezor supports Hive and HBD, if anyone knows can go ahead and answer me. Although in the matter of storing Hive and HBD we have to analyze very well because the Staking and the savings surely we can only do them from our fronts ends. We have a task to investigate.
It is very important that it has arrived in what we believe is already the end of the bear market, let's see if I have time to apply the recommendation of portfolio diversification so that when the bull market arrives our Trezor is already full of color.
Oscar y mi tía Yna estaban demasiado contentos y sonrientes y me tomaban muchas fotos recibiendo mi premio. Y yo les decia siii ganamos, ayer dijimos que ganaríamos.
Y realmente, lo que gané fue mucho, porque para mí, la máxima Bitcoiner que nos lleva a resguardar nuestras llaves con la mayor privacidad y seguridad es vital.
Todavía no la he destapado, así que se viene por ahí el unboxing, ese día vamos a saber si la Trezor soporta Hive y HBD, si alguien lo sabe se puede adelantar y responderme. Aunque en materia de almacenar Hive y HBD hay que analizar muy bien porque el Staking y los ahorros seguramente solo podemos hacerlos desde nuestros fronts ends. Tenemos tarea para investigar.
Es importantísimo que haya llegado en lo que creemos que ya es el fin del bear market, a ver si me da tiempo aplicar la recomendación de diversificación de portafolio y así cuando el bull market llegue ya nuestra Trezor esté llena de colorido.
I wish Aníbal and his team a lot of success with BTC Techno and I think it is very important the problem they have solved and the value they leave by facilitating that now, for the first time in Venezuela, people can acquire a Hardware Wallet directly with an agent authorized by the manufacturer.
Never buy a Hardware Wallet, of any brand, on Amazon or Mercado Libre, be very careful with that, always directly from the manufacturer or its authorized agents.
I say goodbye with much hope for the fulfillment of one cycle and the beginning of another one any time soon.
Le deseo a Aníbal y a su equipo muchísimo éxito con BTC Techno y me parece muy importante el problema que llegan a resolver y el valor que dejan al facilitar que ahora, por primera vez en Venezuela las personas podamos adquirir una Hardware Wallet directamente con un agente autorizado por el fabricante
Nunca compren una Hardware Wallet, de ninguna marca, en Amazon ni Mercado Libre, mucho cuidado con eso, siempre directamente del fabricante o sus agentes autorizados.
