This post is about POB , I have tried to put everything related to POB earnings here . It will be a long post so stay with me , I hope you enjoy this .
April 14th to May 14th .
The data presented below is for the above mentioned period .
Amount of POB earned daily by all users
Here you can see that
Minimum is 5012 POB issued on 30th April 2021 .
Maximum is 8562 POB issued on 26th April 2021 .
Average POB issued during this period = 6587.969 POB
Median POB issued during this period = 6438.703 POB
Not a huge difference between Average and Median which is a good sign . It shows that there is no huge differences in issuing POB daily .

Type of rewards in POB .
POB saw huge success in the first month due to one major feature - earning is possible only through proof of brain .
Now users can earn POB in the following ways
- Author rewards
- Curation rewards
- Comment benefactor rewards ( Means someone adds you as a beneficiary for their posts )
- Token benefactor rewards ( this is the tax for non-native posts , right now this is sent to @pob-fund account .
- There is a 10% tax for non-native posts for POB . All that tax goes to @pob-fund ( Note that , initially it was set to @proofofbrainio but it was changed to @pob-fund later on )
Now in the above mentioned period , here are the earnings for various types
Curation rewards leads the chart with 100,364 POB earned by various curators .
Author rewards with 87,031 POB
Token Benefactor ( non-native tax ) in 3rd place with 9766 POB .
Comment Benefactor ( Beneficiaries ) with 7066 POB.
Number of curators and authors during this period
We had a total of 2624 unique authors during this period who received POB as author rewards.
We had a total of 1141 unique curators during this period who received POB as curation rewards.
Proportion of POB earning - based on types
Almost 50% POB is earned by curators . 43% by Authors + 3.5% beneficiaries .
Then remaining 4.78% is just sent to @pob-fund because of non-native tax .
Daily earnings of POB based on type
Here
- Blue = Author rewards
- Yellow = Comment benefactor rewards
- Red = Curation rewards
- Green = Token benefactor .
You can see that only 1 particular reward which is comment benefactor varies everyday . The rest actually remains more or less the same .
Curation rewards always leads the chart ( it should , author rewards can never overtake curation rewards in POB ) .
Top 25 authors who earned POB in the mentioned period
@leprechaun leads the chart . He earned a massive 9k+ POB in just 31 days .
25th position which is taken by @informationvault has earned 760 POB .
I am happy to be in top 25 :) I have earned 961 POB , thank you all for this .
Top 25 curators who earned POB in the mentioned period
@proofofbrainio just takes a massive lead here . He has earned 16k + POB .
Why I highlighted @onealfa here is because he joined late but has been staking the highest amount of POB in the last 3 weeks consecutively . He will earn more and more POB in coming days .
Also for all engagement project delegators , @amr008.pob has been doing great with respect to curation :) We are actually in 7th place . Thank you all again , you made it possible .

Treemap - all earners
Here the size of the box is proportional to the earnings .
We have 4 big boxes ( earners) and then around 8-9 equal sized boxes . This tells us that POB is actually fairly distributed .
I would like to see the proportion of @proofofbrainio come down a bit though :) We shall all work harder to earn more POB hehe .
