Regulations (KYC) actually exclude the people from crypto who need it the most. People who don't have any government ID are already unfairly excluded from banking, credit cards, Western Union and payment apps. On the other hand, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Monero are liberatory, inclusive, and allow absolutely everyone to send, receive and earn money worldwide with low fees and quick confirmations. No ID, forms or permission required. All you need is an internet connection and your private key.
