This is the last post I make about this idea, so far the feedback has been amazingly positive with some concerns I think I already addressed and they have been aligned with the mindset of the community, so this is the last post I'm making about such proposal and I want to focus in one thing that some people have mentioned before but sounds hard as hell to achieve right now, but with the existence of a Leo Foundation it could be easily achievable.
Leverage and Synergy as a community
Leo Finance is the most active community in the blogging part of Hive and it is definitely at the top regarding Hive Power staked by its users, because Lions not only care about powering up Leo but we are also interested in growing our Hive stack - yes, I don't know about any Lion that has a significant amount of Leo Power but just doesn't have any Hive powered up, I guess they go hand in hand.
The thing is, the Leo Finance ecosystem has proven that us, the members, can work together to achieve some of our internal goals.
But what if we could get organized and coordinated and, with a foundation leading and choosing what is best for the community side of Leo Finance, we could support and rally behind Hive decisions, Hive witness voting and DHF proposals?
Whales in Hive have a lot of leverage at an individual level, but if Leo Finance as a community gets organized and coordinated, we would be able to become a whale in terms of Hive power and increase our influence at a group level - maybe as individuals we don't have enough Hive Power to make a difference, but together, allocating our Hive Power towards the same goals - goals decided by the foundation, with the Leo Finance interest at heart - then, then we really are strong as a community and as a whole and our leverage and influence would be huge.

Think about it.
A single whale in Hive can turn the tide of a DHF proposal, or a single whale behind an idea can rally enough interest for other users to look at it. A couple of whales can start a project on Hive and users will flock towards it (at least out of curiosity).
The point is, a Lion alone makes no difference on anything Hive related, but the Leo Pride together would have enough influence and Hive Power leverage that, if coordinated, could help Leo Finance achieve more things, start more collaborations, create synergy between Hive projects and much, much more.
And on that note, if we manage to organize together and rally behind an entity like a Leo Foundation, the Leo community will be one of the go-to's entities to reach for support when anyone is looking to get any support related to any topic, just like any user would try to get @blocktrades or @theycallmedan's support.
Go figure, a community so strong and tight that we become a single entity for these matters and we have a chair in the big guys' table as a community.
