I'm appalled at how powerful corporations have become.
Big Tech already is in bed with the government, we all know this. And big tech aka Facebook, Google, Apple, Netflix and all of the companies that are part of the progressive agenda pusher group, funded by ESG-narrative architects, are all parto of the power that be that wants us ignorant, dependent, poor and, as of late, under constant surveillance.
And now, even traditional corporations are part of this team, the team that wants to continue and propagate the current status quo that strives to keep each and every one of us as active participants of the never-ending rat race.
The grip of corpo pigs has never been stronger, and they would rather be kings of the ashes instead of letting the average person have freedom.
It is not news that X, formerly Twitter, is probably the only web2 bastion of freedom of speech, and even though Elon Musk is just an ultra capitalist with some turbo Chad points of view, make no mistake, his war is against the progressive agenda and he allied with an audience that everyone else neglects. He is not fighting for us, he is just fighting his own war and using his platform and the anti-progressive audience to power his own narrative.
Granted, I prefer him over the Zuckerburger on any given day, but I would never trust X with my own brand when there we have true web3 as an option here on Hive through inLeo.
It's awesome to see him telling Bob Iger and every other big tech and trad corpo company to go fuck yourself when they tried to leverage their ad revenue to push the agenda they had been pushing for years during Dorsey's rule, but in the end he is part of the system and at any point he can turn on us if some three letter agency leverages the correct play against him.
Because he is still controllable - hell, for all we know he could be controlled opposition - and he still plays by the traditional web2 rules, and unlike truly decentralized blockchain technology and a web3 platform built on top it, X still has to comply with whatever crap the governments come up with.
The main problem here is not big tech, trad corpo or fake web3 like X.
The problem it's us. The users who are willing to stand by everything these companies and governments do to and with us. The fact that we let them control almost every single aspect of our lives is screwed up.
I am part of the problem. I use X a lot to try and build a presence of Hive and InLeo there.
I have to, because that's where our target audience resides, even the crypto audience that considers X to be their web3 playground and town hall. So we have to play by their narrative if we want to connect with them and bring them home.
But this has gone too far
So now it's not only what I mention above, but since a lot of companies have beef with X, some employees of these companies are leaving X, which as I said above, it probably the only big Tech company that is standing against the system. Again, I don't know if it's controlled opposition or if the play is for real, but it really sucks seeing things like this:
So now not only these companies want to leverage their advertisement money to bully X into going progressive, but odds are they are also coercing their employees to leave the platform.
Make no mistake, this is a coordinated effort and it is not a coincidence that all of these companies pulled their Ad money at the same time.
This is collusion, and Elon already filed a lawsuit against Media Matters and all the companies that coordinated this attack.
