I was spending my entire free time on the website which turned out really nice. And now I have to wait until the console brews my DNS record.
Anyways, the downtime is a result of the glitch, it is by default, and it requires a day ( or a few) of waiting until everything settles. Otherwise, I will need to dish out the entire thing from the start on CF.
So, in honor of that prolonged GSC propagation, for a few days, I will be working on Pranz's social media accounts - Medium and Twitter. Later is not unanimously elected. Let me explain.
The website contains two parts: Journal with all written content and Members with tools, and downloads, and a Discord server.
The second part is still in development and plan to do it in the simplest way possible.
Pranz is built on mkdocs, so that only is a challenge how to make parts work as they suppose to, without glitches and smoothly.
Now, because Journal is a huge library and needs a special design, there is no way in hell to shove it in here. Or anywhere. It requires a website.
Backup for Pranz includes Ko-Fi for subscriptions and YouTube for video uploads.
It is not Patreon because it is outdated, and it is not BuyMeACoffee because they have less. Ko-Fi is a far better choice for that kind of thing.
YouTube and Ko-Fi both can be monetized.
I don't do a thing that is not monetized. And I don't like to be constrained by one platform.
I can easily put this on Ko-Fi. But I wouldn't have a backup for an entire thing. And it doesn't have all the features I need. Ko-Fi looks something like one of the previous versions of a Facebook profile page.
Pranz also requires a guest blogging platform and some sort of social media account, so I can share all I do.
Hive is perfect for that part - when it comes to cryptocurrency and gaming like Splinterlands. So, Leofinance and Splintertalk.
For other things, there comes Medium and Twitter.
I will have 30 days to prove to the other two that this is the right choice.
The reason why I chose Twitter as the first over Mastodon, Reddit, Facebook, or any other, is the search engine.
Mastodon has a horrible search engine.
Basically, it is the same thing with the ChatGPT, it is great until it isn't. So, I will leave it to mature a little bit more until I decide to use it.
Mastodon is way below Hive standards. There is some good stuff there, but little to no addressing Web3, privacy, or anything like that. Those people stopped on Web2 and believe federated is the pinnacle of technological evolution.
And, only mentioning the fact that I am backing my statements with financial assets could easily cause a riot of Biblical proportions. Hence native encryption, wallets, scalability ( unknown term)...
And let's not forget that again, only the individuals with resources can host a federated instance and apply their own rules. The way I understood it is, the meaning of private property is bleating vague to anyone having an issue with Elmo and Birdsite.
I have an issue with many other things including Twitter.
Now, there is a significant difference between free and premium Twitter accounts, the later I will utilize because of those differences.
That is the second reason. A person actively can buy into better traffic. On other platforms, it is behind the scene. Or you can't even get it. If you stick your head, it gets chopped off by the swarms of pods protecting the placement of their bot master.
When the main website is ready to start sharing content, Twitter will be in the test phase for a month.
Why Medium?
Medium will be used as a host for partial Journal re-prints.
After I reach 100 followers I can apply for monetization.
In the case that Twitter shows better prospects, I will not vest much in that hassle.
Twitter requires me to have 500 followers and Twitter Blue in order to monetize my account and earn there.
Usually reaching 500 followers on Twitter is far easier than reaching it anywhere else. Money is not an issue. It is a search engine.
I can't do anything about Google, and I can't get so much traffic and backlinks with the type of website I currently have.
I doubt I will be able to do it on Twitter either, but I will try.
I am not a mediocre wordsmith who made a fortune by creating yet another useless collection of delusions. I don't have millions of convulsing supporters who enjoy reading about morbidity, as if they all suffer from various conflicts of personality, socially inept insecurities, and mind-eating viruses.
I don't do that.
I make money by fixing junk and trading shitcoins.
My career choice is so horribly wrong and untimely in the world of influencers filled with plastic and sermons filled with idiots.
I am not interested enough. I am not rude enough. Not even that. Despite all my effort, I am still not rude enough. Or docile enough to ruminate for days about how I am not going to do something because I am too good for that.
I say I will wait, I will try, I will observe until I learn, I will back off because of this or that.
Aw, I am so sorry to be this boring, I am in awe of Alexander the Great of the Mid-World and his 100 children by The Goddesses of Doubleday, Viking, Scribner, and Hodder & Stoughton ... if I missed any please correct me.
Because people who marketed uselessness, and then pretend they are too good for the cesspool they are sitting in are the most important of us all.
So, I need another kind of strategy to boost my stuff. 11 EUR is cheap compared to the alternatives.
Publish0x is failing me enough, compared to Leofinance, to wage another war with a publishing platform that I can't possibly win.
Having different types of content on Medium and Leofinance is a far better idea, than republishing.
It doesn't make any sense, the audience is completely different.
I know that people who have 20 profiles on these pages, republish on all of them and profusely print with the ChatGPT ( and others) don't care a bit about it, but I don't see much use for that.
Also, it is easy to do it with a 250-300 word article, but what am I going to do with this? I touch a keyboard and I am already on 1000 words.
Leofinance/Hive/Peakd/Ecency can be more like a diary entry form, while all the other things can go under whatever other platform sails well with me.
It is too many things already.
