The situation is deteriorating day by day, with some volume increasing after the Christmas holidays, further lowering the market. At the time of writing, the current value of BTC is $16500, a 2% decrease in a single day. This indicates that the bears are winning the battle, and there is a more chance that the price will fall further.

DREARY CRYPTO WINTER IS ALWAYS EXTENSIVE

Dreary crypto winter has lasted 1.5 years and is still going on, despite the fact that winter has not ended. Investors are concerned after such a long crypto winter, and now is the time to be concerned. The bleak crypto winter is always prolonged and causes significant harm to many investors and traders. If no good news hits the market, it could take years to end.

There is a distinction between bear and crypto winter in that the bear takes the market 20% lower and has a higher chance of reversal. This bear is the result of a market correction and investors who adjust their money. However, in comparison to Crypto Winter, it is much darker and has a negative impact on crypto investors.

Now the question is, when will this dreary crypto winter end? This is a difficult question to answer, but only good news can bring about a change. If you only rely on BTC, the crypto winter will be difficult to end, but there are other possibilities where other altcoins can help this winter end. Ethereum is the best market catalyst that can play a critical role in bringing the crypto winter to an end.

The year 2022 was difficult because there were continual drops in the value of crypto currency every month and week. We observe that when BTC declines, all other altcoins decline even more sharply, harming many investors. Just like today, when BTC declined by 2%, I observed that HIVE declined twice as much as BTC, which is down by 5%.

ALTCOIN WILL SUFFER MORE AS A RESULT OF THE BTC CRASH

This is how altcoin will suffer if BTC continues to fall and the crypto winter does not end. More analysis and predictions from large investors and regular investors indicate that the beginning of 2023 will be a good day for cryptocurrency. But I doubt it because there hasn't been any such buying in the market in recent months.

Buyers may become more active if volume increases, but I don't see that happening in the market. Instead, we see more decline when we see some good volume, indicating that there is still a lot of fear in the market, which is preventing investors from charging their confidence. Because there are no such bull indications, I believe this crypto winter will last another six months.

As a result, the only way for the current crypto winter to end is for other altcoins such as BNB, ETH, SOL, and some other well-known altcoins to explode. These altcoins have the potential to turn the winter market into a bull market at any time. Another possibility is that some good news in favour of cryptocurrency emerges, assisting in the end of the Crypto Winter.
