This is especially beneficial for hive users who are also interested in trading for profit.
You may have heard of arbitrage trading, which is a type of trading in which you track the price difference of a coin from one exchange to another. Arbitrage is simply profiting from price differences for the same asset or coin in different markets. Its easy to find price difference by seeing the same coin price in two different exchange.
Don't be confused if you don't understand what I'm saying; I'll explain it even more simply with an example. Assume coin "A" is trading for $0.3000 on the Binance market, and it is trading at $0.3025 on another exchange, like gate.io, coinbase or any other.
The price differential of the identical asset in both markets is readily visible. Arbitrage is the practise of taking advantage of price differences. However, keep in mind that this is not always beneficial, and it is dependent on the nature of the coin and the price difference between the two exchanges.
We must keep in mind the fees for buying and selling in both exchanges. After calculating all of this, if you find a profit, go for it; otherwise, it will be a loss. As a result, it is preferable to select the coin with the lowest feasible trading charge and to find a one-way free fee.
This is especially true with #hive, when we have an edge from one side that is transitioning from one exchange to another. Let me illustrate with an example. Assume we purchased #hive on Binance at the current rate of $0.3043 at the time of writing. The identical coin is currently trading at $0.3065 on #Gate.io, indicating a significant price difference.
Calculate whether or not this deal is favourable after fee charges are deducted.
