Finance growth is a difficult challenge in today's society, and job selection is difficult too. It is obvious that when the employment rate falls, it will become more difficult for people to find work. One of the reasons is that the government is unable to pay its employees' salary. As a result, they halt recruiting or even dismiss workers from departments.
Another major effect of the lower employment rate is the recommendation of officers and other wealthy people who put money into the jobs. Officers choose relatives and best friends, whereas wealthy people utilise their financial power to hire their best related candidates. This is the genuine fact in Asian countries, as I have numerous examples.
It is really unfortunate to report that many of the best officer positions are filled by uneducated officers who are simply there for departmental favours or to pass along money. In my country, bribery is at an all-time high, and nothing is empty with it.
Even the influence department uses bribes and money to allocate a certain number of seats to various individuals. That is one of the reasons a nation's finances and economy are on the verge of collapse. One drawback of the third world is that jobs are not distributed on the basis of merit but rather among those who have recommendations and money.
Unfortunately, in my country, this injustice is at its peak, and I estimate that 70-80% of seats are given without regard for merit. Those who hold the power of appointment as officials or in high-ranking positions. They do not use their influence based on merit or honesty, but rather on money and referrals from one another.
You can go to Google and search for the hiring scenario in my country; you will be disappointed. I've seen that in my country, education and diplomas, which are your life's hard work, are unimportant.
Money and acquaintance are more important in this case. If you are skilled at making recommendations or if you are affluent, you will almost certainly be appointed.
This is my true story as a resident of Pakistan's Quetta. 14 years have passed since I began my academic career. In addition to being among the top students in my college, I graduated in 2014 with First Division. Over 400 students competed for the top spot at my college, and I won among all and mark first position. I feel like I accomplished a lot with this.
When I reached this accomplishment, the college's head called and invited me to his office. He offers his congratulations and best wishes for success in my future endeavours. In order to publicise this success through various newspapers, he also asked for passport-size photos to be brought so that my this goal will be recorded in College history.
That day, I was overjoyed to see all of these things, and one thought came to me. That after putting in the effort, I was able to attain my objectives, and that hopefully, as it was with me in college, the same will be true in my professional life. But, to be honest, it is really disheartening because I fight in 20 departments for getting job but was not considered one of the capable people in that department.
I was quite upset and decided to stop seeking for employment. But one of my friends tells me not to give up hope and to keep fighting. He provided me an idea that worked, but I was unable to implement it. He urged me to apply for the lesser post seats and pay a 14LAC bribe to acquire a 14 grade seat.
I decided to do experience and Let me know about this reality that will bribe work to get me a job, I reasoned. I went to the education department and asked about a seat on the 14 BPS scale. The officer stated clearly that if you are a PPP employee, you will be given the job; else, you must pay for the seat. My country's best diplomatic party is the PPP.
After hearing this, I became dissatisfied and bored to apply in jobs in Quetta. I stopped looking for positions in the government sector and instead went into the private sector, which is based on merit and aptitude. This is my true story, and there are thousands more like it every month.
That is how uninformed people and those with money and influence take advantage of the rights of capable people. With this structure, I do not believe the country will progress, and the effect is clear: they are looking for loans from other countries and the IMF on a daily basis.
