I have been using Hive for two years and the experience I got is pretty mixed-type than the other social media platform. Two years, really looks a decent bit of time to settle in any sector or quest, not lengthy nor short but it is filled with meaningful learning, knowledge, awareness and skill set on the realm of web3 blockchain.
Hive was created putting forward a lasting vision and unlike other social media platforms, the prime characteristics of it being decentralised gave me an inner outlook that there is control of every entity and account to have the power to decide own fate and not having the obligations to be accountable to none. Simplistic, user-friendly, yet had side effects also.
Looking at Facebook, the largest social media app reportedly topped the list of other platforms for the user case, such big numbers of participants and daily interactions per day. I wonder, what range of servers are used to store and process data, information into one entity. Workstations must have trouble in coordinating all those info's together with large base of active users increasing each day.
Web2 & web3 arent the same and the later one is an upgraded model of block transactions, and I had little idea how all these systems worked. Until I found the proof using two social media together as case sample. Facebook very recently found guilty of security infringement issues, where thousands of users complained that they have seen as to leak their personal information to other forums and breaking privacy protocols.
Facebook CEO Zuck was under serious questioning and the interviewer panel members were figures like US Senators and he had to show cause and proofs according to his claim and on support of facebook as a trustworthy source. Do you find pleasure in using Facebook or Twitter? Which one is convenient and advantageous to use? I guess facebook, but after security concerns attached to the media, there is little question to justify the choice.

But with respect to Hive, no such instances occured where one could say that their private data was leaked by the central website, or the entity found in modifying private information. There were simply zero cases and thats how web3 apps like Hive got on favourable choice, trustworthy, elegant and easy approachable. No fees to operate the chain,simply resource credits and engagement.
Having the chance to build a community full of followers is a privilege and the co authors special opinion is rich enough to provide solution to problems one needs to get. Through blog posts, the new era of content creation is something that could be successful in creating a certain class of fanbase, who could be hungry to eat what content you share and vice versa. Hive gave the atmosphere and it was due to new technology .
The new addition of smart features is attractive as that helps to new users find trust and own choice in using different designs. Operating engines are the main attractions and you would be at one that, there is individual interests along with community patterns which keeps the pace get going. Hive running through community guideline helps user to be specific and post specific, rules that setting discipline for viewers and other engaging users to be same and selective.
There were so many other issues attached to the chain, but I rather tried to evade from those in those past years. Of course, there is vengeance in every community and no community is pure 100% and world is full of evil people and not picture -perfect angels. But, down-assessing someones effort is not allowed at all, but still that has broken dreams from time to time. But still Hive is going well and so as old and new folks too.
