In terms of popularity, Pi cryptocurrency is one of the cryptos that got famous all over the world and got a huge community due to its promise of giving out airdrops when users mine the coin on their mobile devices. Personally, I have been mining Pi for over 5 years and through those years there were many speculations of when it was going to launch and it never and this made the community get discouraged in mining the crypto and even uninstalling the mining app.
Late last year they began KYC verification and brought out its test net for users or the community to be able to get a feel of the coin before the main launch it’s been months there have been no updates on when the main net will be out or functional however, the community noise is gradually reducing again what would be their next surprise this time around?
Earlier this week when crypto traders were battling with the crypto market and bitcoin’s shenanigans Forbes took the headline by announcing that they have recognized Pi Network as a revolutionary crypto asset but who would believe that? But then again, Forbes is a reliable source for analysis and business news. Forbes saying Pi is a revolutionary crypto asset means something big is coming and they have seen its potential because of the vast and dedicated community it has gathered over the years.
The fact that Forbes has listed Pi doesn’t really change anything if the Network and developers don’t do something about its enclosed main net. One good thing about the mining of Pi is that it’s lightweight and energy efficient making millions of users to be able to carry out the mining process on their mobile devices. When it eventually gets listed in crypto exchanges or comes to mainnet the people that will mainly benefit from it are the early adopters and dedicated miners that have been mining the coin nonstop for years.
Despite Forbes recognizing the Pi Network it doesn’t change the fact that the community are getting impatient and waiting for something to be done but the question is when?
