Today get to know from coingecko a great news to crypto community in this region (South East Asia) ,
The great news is the top bank in South East Asia - DBS Bank is adopting the crypto !
Via its corporate bank, DBS bank will launch the Digital Exchange, where most surprise me is BCH is accepted as well !
This is big endorsement of cryptocurrency to the mass market here in this region!
I saw the crypto pairs that they offer includes first of its kind BCH/SGD!!
I am pretty surprise DBS doesn't include Litecoin but BCH. Maybe they see the great potential of BCH in this region, especially in Philippines.
But the service they offer do have disadvantage where their operating hour is following the conventional stock market , open mon-fri 9am to 4pm only. I personally see this as big disadvantage, so I won't want use it as for now.
But given DBS significant status in this region as the top one bank, its offer definitely give a big boost to cryptocurrency adoption here.
Note: I could not see the same page anymore after 8pm, not sure why DBS remove away the announcement and news.
