Today AI is in almost all the business and there is a heavy need to introduce AI and AI tools into our business. Especially if the business is IT industry, there is a huge need to introduce AI into our product and services. One of the biggest advantage is that AI is capable of doing the jobs of many individuals. Earlier when automations happened, it was only the non-technical tasks were automated. Today the target is on skill based jobs like development. AI is magical and is able to provide code for everything. Not just development, image processing, image generation, video editing, video making etc are also the other fields where AI is doing wonders.
RPA and AI
When RPA came into picture, it took away the job of many people. When computer and calculators were introduced, many people lost their job and they had to change the way they were working. No more paper work or paper entry. People had to use calculators to do faster calculation and use computers to computer faster than human. These technological improvements were embraced by the people. Today the same revolution is happening where AI is outsmarting others andd making the job easier for many skill based jobs.
When RPA came into picture, it only reduced the work load of manual workers but today AI is very smart and it is replacing skill based jobs. There is still a lot more improvement required but today people who build websites for about 3 months are able to build it within the timeframe of just 3 days. The role of a developer would be to just review the code that was generated by the AI. The employer is looking to retain only the amount of employees that would be required to review the work.
Another perspective to grow the business
Even though AI is a threat to some skill based jobs, today IT companeis are trying to focus more on sales and trying to build tools for the sales guys where if a project that takes 3 months to complete can be completed in 3 days, we see that as an advantage and with that effort we can pick up 30 projects and employ more people who can do wonders by integrating and interracting with AI.
We have no other option than moving towards this direction because AI is the technology that we have to embrace and if AI is smart, we have to outsmart AI by surviving with skills that AI cannot compete with.
