I have been talking to many of my friends to get them onboarded to Hive or to the crypto world. We all know how difficult it is to onboard people to the crypto world. Even in the past, I have talked about this to many friends and relatives. It has not been very easy at all. Of all the things we have in the crypto world, it is very easy for some newbies to get lost and can even be confusing and they quit too early without even giving it a try.
This time I tried a different approach. I have brought my friends just only as an investor. I asked each one of them to just invest a small amount of money and watch it grow. It is good that we have that facility on Hive where we will be able to grow our investment in the form of curation rewards even if we are not posting regularly. I have convinced my friends that they don't have to do anything and just watch the money grow. They also wanted the same thing. They wanted me to manage the funds for them and just tell them some good news later on.
As a first step, I have created an account for them and converted all their investments from INR to Hive. Below are the 3 accounts of my friends. I will be handing over the keys to them later when they understand more about private keys and about keeping the keys safe.

I consider bringing them during the red market as an advantage. The reason is that when the invested the value of Hive was around 40 cents and now the price is almost fluctuating between 43 cents and 50 cents already and we are able to see that the market is still red and not showing a good sign of recovery yet. The asset value will keep increasing and if the price of Hive touches 1$, it will be a big advantage.
The intention here is not about doing any kind of trading. We all know about the tokenomics of Hive and today the amount of Hive invested will be a lot more in another 5 years. Many new investments will take the price of Hive even further but the number of tokens an individual is holding will also increase gradually. That's the point I'm trying to focus on.

Based on the amount of FIAT they have given me, I have converted it to Hive in the market price of Hive at the time of their transfer. All the hive has been powered up. In addition to that, I have followed the curation trail of the @indiaunited account to utilize their Hive power in a better manner. They will get their own curation rewards as Hive power for their voting activity when the @indiaunited account votes a post. I have also made those accounts follow my voting pattern as well to make sure their voting mana is well utilized.
I have also informed them that if they would like to withdraw this amount completely (which I wouldn't encourage them to do), it will take 1 week first to get the delegation back and then 13 weeks to get the full amount back as liquid funds where every week they will be getting a part of the liquid funds in the process of power down.
Note: If you are inspired by this way of onboarding new users to Hive, I would recommend bringing only your close friends who would trust you completely. Do not do this to strangers or do this as a scheme as crypto markets are completely volatile and the investors can end up in a great profit or even end up in a big loss. The above 3 people are my closest friends and they know me very well in the real world.
