Today the world is moving in a direction where a lot of inflation is happening which makes it not enough to have just one source of income. There is a need for additional sources of income so that we can move the next step towards desires from fulfilling our basic needs. Currently, the income we earn is only helping us fulfill our basic needs. Living in countries that are still developing makes it hard too.
There is an advantage in today's world where anyone can do any type of job with the help of the internet facilities we have. We will be able to connect with people from other parts of the world with the help of the Internet. Apart from just working online, there are also other ways to generate income but sometimes it will require experience.
Online Tutor
Teaching is one of the best things that someone can do to earn a decent income. I say this because some people would like to make their kids learn either for their school subjects or a particular skill. If we know some things, we can be an online tutor and earn some decent income from it. Some parents are ready to pay a lot of money to keep their kids engaged. Not just as tutors but they are ready to pay if someone is teaching their kids some specific skills like craft or artwork. If we have that skill, this is one nice opportunity where we can explore and get a few students to keep going.
Working part-time as a project manager
If we are from an IT background, there are some requirements where we can work as a project manager. These days usually projects are short-lived and the companies plan towards hiring contract employees who can stay with the company only until there is a need and then close off the contract. In such cases getting a project and working as a project manager is the best thing. Sometimes the individual contributors in a company manage all these things but some companies specifically want people to manage their projects so that some realistic dates can be achieved.
Content writer
There will always be a demand for these types of jobs. Today even though there are tools available to generate our content with the help of AI, some websites worry about Google ranking and they would like to have their content written by real humans rather than an AI. There are also tools available that can easily find out if the content was written by AI or a human. People prefer to write with human experience than getting it done with AI. So, there is always a demand for content writers.
Guest lectures and course creators
Some educational institutions would like to call experienced people to give guest lectures to their students. It can be on any topic. It can either be on a skill-based topic or even a soft skills training. But there is a demand for this and working in a company for several years will naturally give that experience and that experience can be shared with the students. There are also other avenues where people can share their knowledge with others in the form of courses online. Either the courses can be sold on some course platforms or they can be sold from the websites directly.
