When writing this article, a new month is starting for us in our local calendar. I'm not sure if this is a coincidence but I thought there is no harm in taking some motivation to achieve many things. Sometimes we might need some additional push outside our routine to achive more.
We have all that one dream that one fine day we will start doing something and one fine day we will take the first step towards success. But in most cases that one day will never happen. We keep procrastinating things without starting it but ultimately when we think about it one fine day, we can imagine how many days have gone and sometimes even years have gone. It would have been great if we had taken the first step on a particular idea. The initial success we got would have been a great drive for us to proceed further with our idea.
Planning for the future
The thoughts about how our future should be is something that should be avoided. Only if we plan on doing certain things today, we will be able to see that future. Otherwise, the future that we are thinking about will just end up like a dream, and that will never be a reality. Many people end up doing things in just planning and doing nothing when it comes to execution. This is the major reason why our success is delayed.
Missed opportunities
It is not about comparing with others but learning from others. There are always people who are better and more successful than us. It is good to have a healthy competition. When we miss a particular opportunity that is right in front of our eyes, there is always going to be someone else who might grab that opportunity. It will end up as a miss for us. Any missed opportunity is going to be a story of someone else's success. There is no point in thinking that it should have been our success instead.
Never too late to start something
When we realize this, we are still good and we still have more time to be successful. Maybe our success is delayed a little bit but even if we start today we should be able to chase some of our dreams and be successful. Planning is important but planning without any execution or start is not going to help anyone. We might end up having some regrets for not doing things earlier. But it is never too late to start something. I know some people who started their new skill at the age of 50 and 60 and I take inspiration from them and they also say that it is never too late to start something.
