I have held XRP since the first bull market and ever since entering the crypto world. The price was around 2$ when I made the initial purchase and since then I have been continuously holding my XRP. There were so many ups and downs and I thought of doing a DCA but I couldn't do it today XRP is going toward the moon. At the time of writing this article, the price of XRP is around 2.72 USD. I guess people in the US are waking up right now and are wondering what is happening with XRP and maybe buying some XRP.
I got a call from one of my friends from the US asking about XRP. He also bought it about 5 to 7 years back during the first bull market.
Now if we look at the market, we can see that XRP is very close to reaching its all-time high value. I'm glad that I'm seeing this right now. I wanted to book some profits this morning, so I sold almost 50 percent of my XRP holdings. That gave a good sum of money. When I sold my XRP, the idea was to see it go down again and purchase it back to do a short trade. I sold it when the price was 2.32 dollars. Looking at the price, I guess it won't stop until it maybe reaches a two-digit value.
Everything for XRP is positive and when the SEC case happened, XRP had the upper hand and this pump should have happened long back. Today is a great day for XRP and it is not too bad. I still hold the remaining 50 percent of my XRP and I have no plans to sell them at all. Even if the price of XRP falls back to 1 dollar again, I would just be doing a DCA and I'm not going to sell the remaining 50 percent of my holdings. One thing I might want to do is to move it to a proper XRP ledger. Right now the coin is on Binance and it is not good because,e for every transaction I do in and out, it is doing a KYC.
Today I'm also remembering some of the old conversations from people who did not believe in XRP and were adding some hate comments on my previous blogs about XRP. Today is the day to show them the power of XRP.
Maybe alt season is starting
I'm able to see that not only XRP but Litecoin is also having a good time with a decent increase. Maybe the alt season is starting as the BTC is showing some resistance at 95k USD. Hope there is a strong altcoin season now before the next all-time high for BTC. This way people move their funds from BTC to other coins. All that I'm expecting is a similar pump for Hive. Hope the price of Hive hits 3 dollars soon and that can be a great time to cash out a little to the real world.
I'm able to see some of the old cryptocurrencies starting to pump. LTC, XVG, IOTA, and XRP are all some of the old folks that I got familiar with when I started my journey 7 years back. Something is happening around them and that's why maybe they are all having a nice time. ADA is also having a nice time right now. Let's hope this alt season lasts.
