We've been hit by so many occurrences in life that make us question ourselves with words like;
Am I growing?
Many times we are fortunate and unfortunate to meet some long-time friends in life and we either get jealous of how grown they have become or be glad we out-grown them.
Growth does not necessarily have to be attached to puberty. It is true many haven't grown physically but have age-wise. The stage of puberty have enhanced many in the necessary part that needs enhancement though there are few who are left with undergrown enhanced part.
Life in it space have shown us some positive and negative aspect and these aspects always leave marks on us. Having those marks and learning from the mark determined our growth in life.
Let's assume a person who nearly escaped accident because he or she was drunk. The aftermath of the accident will surely leave a mark, right?
Let's say the person learned from the incident and decided to stay off alcohol or they take a little and do not drive even when they are sure they can hold the steering. Can we say this person have grown?
Growth happens in all areas of life and we are left to either grow with the happenings.
A guy and lady who started a relationship anew will probably have lots of differences while courting. The presence of growth comes in when whatever brought in those difference or better still, arguments do not occur again.
At this time, we can say they are growing because they have started understanding each other more which mean less arguments.
It won't be surprising if they go weeks or months without getting on each others neck because they have gotten to know a larger part of their actions, their likes and dislikes and all other.
This makes the relationship turn healthier because growth have taken place and if they continue on that path, they will be able to live together if marriage happens.
Another aspect of growth regarding our finance.
Let's assume a person who is a spender happened to fall into a huge debt. What is the way out of this?
The person might have to start begging and reduce the way he or she spends. Having doing that, if the person's debt happens to be paid, there is a high probability the person will be conscious of how they spend and learn to save more.
In this aspect, we can say the person has grown and if the person continues on the path of minimizing their spending part and maximizing their investment, there is a low chance of the person going into debt.
Growing is constant in some cases and the ability to learn and grow makes life living.
Debt is something not worth having. It dampens the spirit of a worker and make them toil endlessly to have their debt paid which is unhealthy.
Growth is necessary in life and this begot this question;
"Are you growing?"
